This is kind of weird but I did have a Disney smell flashback when we got home the other day.
We just spent about 2-weeks in WDW and we had decided to open our pool when we got back from vacation instead of doing it beforehand. It's an above ground pool and I have a sand filter. This year I decided I was going to change the sand in the filter and as I was dumping the pool filter sand into the filter, the smell was the closest thing I've ever come to in reminding me of the watery/musty smell in Pirates and other water features in Disney.
I'm not saying Disney uses sand filtering for their water......but maybe they do?? Outside of dumping pool filter sand in the hallways of my house, I have no idea how to replicate it though.
