Pins Give a hint into New CELEBRATION!

I was just looking on the pin site and ...once again merch. is ahead giving previews of what is to come Just like what they did with HM new version. http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pintrading/search/results?keywords=CELEBRATE EVERYDAY

I love the CM Pin and the Monsters Inc. one with them holding the balloons. Though the mickey mouse ears look just like yomd.... but I remember they did this also with HCOE.:king:

It was cool to see the characters in the blue mickey hats though...they didn't do this with the last celebration ...did they...I remember they did it with HCOE with the golden ears. I just was hoping the blue ears would be something a little bit different...maybe with some confetti or balloons...oh well it is just a preview of the magic to come! ENJOY everyone!

I did want to note...they are titling this merch as "CELEBRATE everyday!" Instead of "What will you Celebrate?" Celebration...interesting.

(like the bolt character)...Guess we will have to put a pin in that for later...hahaha:lol:

Oh i also just noticed that on the bottom of the CM name tag pin it says... DREAM MAKER....hmmm so there still going with the whole Dream Maker theme for the CMs... wonder if this means they will keep on the dream squad...and pass out...um celebrations...instead of pins haha

I'm assuming that for the new CM nametags, the castle and WDW logo will be shrunken and located in the hump at the top.

The only difference between this one and the YoMD nametag is the castle and "Dream Maker" has replace "Where Dreams Come True".

That's what I was thinking to. I love the Castle with balloons around it logo. Yay I get a new nametag!!

I was part of the What will you Celebrate Street Team and we got a pin. I'm a bit disapointed its not a limited edition but its cute. I haven't found it online anywhere but it goes along with the "WWYC" theme. I'll take a picture when I get home in a few days

Am I the only one that thinks everything looks like YOMD recycled?

The pins, planning DVD, everything! It's like the slapped a few Mickey Mouse balloons around and said "That'll do it, they will never realize that we recycled everything from the last two years."

It's very uninspired to me.

I know I noticed that too...with the whole blue mickey hats...even the pins with the fake diamonds on them...theres nothing different about them just a new label. They kinda did this for a short while with HCOE in the pins saying that it was YOMD...yet I knew better!! Maybe that will be the case they use up any leftover merch and then come up with orginal merch...to save money. But it is kinda the same thing...I guess to make the transition a bit more fluid...:shrug:

You're not the only one... :wave:

I wonder if they are just getting lazy with it, or if the economic pinch hindered them from doing a massive overhaul.

It looks like a more classy YOAMD to me...Honestly, I don't care. It's a "fake" celebration anyway.


At least it's not bright yellow banners all around WS...I can deal with blue.

I am looking at the new merch now ...and i totally agree: not much thought seems to have gone into the new collection. My impression so far - It IS a complete rehash of the YOAMD promotion, right down to the ear hat collection of pins..

Now i understand when something sells well or is popular with collectors, you naturally want to come up with a 'copycat' item. This just seems too shallow though...i mean, could'nt they have had the designs look just a tiny bit more festive ( balloons too maybe?).

I dunno....it does not seem too exciting.
