PH at MK.....

I still think Pixie Hollow would make a great addition to AK. It could be beautiful if done right. Also, I like the idea of the Tree of Life, the Avatar Tree, and this Pixie Hollow tree (at least there was a huge one in the concept art) as landmarks around the park. It could be an interesting touch for the park. Kids enjoy M&G's, you could add a playground, and build an immersive area for her where guests shrink down to her size. Seems like it would be a better fit for her character than sticking her in Adventureland or Town Hall.....

I don't really think it is a great fit for DAK, but if you did this and had some flat rides (something similar to A Bug's Land in scope) it would be a nice help to DAK.

I would love to see a "Neverland-land" with PH being a part of it. There is so much rich content in the world of Peter Pan.

I completely agree! Fairies and mermaids for the girls, pirates and lost boys for the boys. A classic villain and a fun sidekick. NeverLand is so well rounded they could easily make an entire land off this one movie. Plus having the off shoots of Pixie Hollow And Jake helps immensely too.

Everyone can rest assured its never going to happen. I think mostly because its something that I would love to happen in the parks, i really like the Pixie Hollow movies, but just like Tron and Marvel they aren't coming to Disney World.

With each passing year it becomes obvious that Pixie Hollow will remain an Anaheim exclusive and not make the jump to Orlando. Much like Cars Land.

TDO had the option to put in a Disneyland-style Pixie Hollow at Magic Kingdom and also get a Pixie themed version of Mater's Junkyard Jamboree with it as well (the Disneyland Pixie Hollow has no ride, just the lagoon and walk-thru and meet n' greet).

But TDO passed on that and the idea was shelved.

Regardless of it being a distance from the Peter Pan ride, the original plans for Pixie Hollow in the FLE should have been Neverland, with PH being one component.

Hook's Ship, Skull Rock and then PH in that corner (where Circusland is now) would have been a perfect fit – especially with expanding the water features from The Little Mermaid.

Heck, even better, they could have made Neverland (with Hook's Ship and Skull Rock) where the SWMT is going and put the Mine Train in the Circusland area.

Just as I signed off on this thread, I cruised over to Bloomberg News and found this interesting article about Disney titled "The Plan To Save Marvel". It's an interesting read, and I think it holds the map to the future of theme park development more than the minor Pixie franchise does. Just look at those numbers of ticket sales in recent years, in the Billions! (That's with a 'B') http://www.businessweek.com/article...marvels-superhero-at-running-movie-franchises

The Pixies suddenly look very minor in comparison.

oh ok, that makes more sense.

Yeah Pixie Hollow was going to be where Circusland is now and Cinderella's Chateau was going where the Mine Train is now.

Once the Mine Train was added, there wasn't room in the budget for Pixie Hollow. Plus the braintrust wanted to keep the merchandise tents from ToonTown Fair (even though TTF was being demolished). Brilliant! So now we're left with the craptacular CircusLand.

And, no matter how JT and Disney may want to spin it, the first couple of Tinker movies were complete bombs compared to how they were supposed to sell. The fact that the first movie bombed probably led them to back away from the Pixie Hollow idea.

Why they didn't make the Tangled bathrooms Pixie Hollow (since it's right across from Pan and where the Fairy m&g may end up) is beyond me. I can only imagine the success of Tangled and thud of Tinkerbell was the reason.

Inevitable based on what?

Based on the fact that the lore will always fascinate the young girl demo. And Disney will always find success with it. I believe if the content were compelling enough it could even do better than 'princess franchises'.

Seems also that there can't be many more princess stories that do not become repetitive. Skies the limit for Tink and similar stories. IMO.

If Disney chooses to give up on an entire demographic then you are right. Doubt they will go that route though.

I would suggest you study the first Avatar movie and decide why girls found it fascinating. Much of the story was derived from the magic generated in the imagination by the fantasy of the miniature worlds depicted at times.

Sounds like a land that could be placed in the empty land beyond the current FLE space.

Close Peter Pan's Flight, demolish Pinocchio's restaurant and rebuilt PPF there.....the flight then becomes an attraction where you fly from London to Neverland. There is quite a lot of isolated space there to build a fully immersive Neverland.

You then also have an available attraction space in the existing FL space too.

Why don't they make the old Pan bathrooms into Pixie Hollow? If they aren't going to use them for an expanded queue, that would be a good use of the space, especially with it being right next to PPF. Better than Tink in Town Square.

Trouble is Marvel will NEVER come to WDW due to Uni's license.

Pixie Hollow in Disneyland would be a great addition to the Magic Kingdom. I'm pretty surprised that they haven't taken the opportunity to recreate this amazing meet and greet in Florida. Guests are lined up for hours to meet Tinkerbell and friends on a daily basis.
