Peter Pan Queue

I'd love to see Pan and It's a Small World have their facades updated.

It'd never happen, but I'd love to see the FestHaus become IASW's queue house, the external queue demolished (widening the walkway between PP and IASW) and a proper IASW facade built that could be seen once you walk through the castle.

The enormous cement park out front (between the new IASW entrance and carousel) could get the IASW fountain like in Paris.

No place has the area that could be established by simply removing one attraction. And there are plenty of IPs that are not being exploited properly that mesh with the Fantasyland banner.

And I think it could be beneficial to TWDC to have IaSW be exclusive to Disneyland in the US. As some have pointed out WS is WDW's "Small World".

Wins all around.

Thank you.
They could always take out Village Haus to make an entrance to a new area that goes behind the current Small World and also Haunted Mansion. Maybe it could even go further all the way to BTM. Tons of potential and Small World gets to stay where it is.

Or IASW goes to WS, Village Haus and the old Small World area are bulldozed and the whole area behind Small World and Mermaid becomes a new area featuring Neverland, Wonderland, Arendale, Bald Mountain and Pleasure Island. Pooh gets a flat ride and cafe where Tea Cups and Cheshire Cafe used to be since they'd be relocated (frog hopper or mini-chairswings?) The area by BTM should be Western River Expedition and Geyser Mountain. Maybe the old Discovery Bay concept or Oz between Frontier and Fantasy/behind Liberty? Mary Poppins takes PPF/Philharmagic, Philharmagic moves to Town Square, Princess Fairytale Hall uses part of the new space... Sleeping Beauty gets a dark ride.

Rerouting the Jungle Cruise path along with a service road and reworking the POTC would allow some expansion to Adventureland (1 or 2).
You know there's an old idea for Disneyland that I think could be applied to an expansion of Magic Kingdom's Adventureland.

Indiana Jones and the Lost Expedition, featuring both the Adventure ride and a Mine Cart roller coaster :) The Jungle Cruise also passes through it at one point. I think Magic Kingdom definitely has the space for this.

Personally I wouldn't mind if IaSW went away. It creates a terrible bottle neck in a park that has plenty of content to be expanded greatly.

Someone did a mock up schematic and there is tons of room for a major expansion that one ride keeps from happening. It is time to fix that situation IMO.

Unfortunately they don't seem interested in using that land behind IaSW anytime soon since they are currently building new parking lots and a new retention pond back there.

Two major thrill rides in one shot... add an Agrabah mini-land with Magic Carpets and an Aladdin show right past. Perfect addition. It'd be cool if the mine cart coaster went through a volcano (keep some elements of the old Fire Mountain concept). And it'd give TDO an excuse to give Jungle Cruise some TLC.

Probably this, the pre-1983 entrance at Disneyland! It's not the best shot I could find, but it does give you an idea:
PeterPan1966.jpg

Also, there was a time when the exterior of Florida's ride was a bit more simplistic as well (once again, not the best shot out there):

I think that's all of them now. But anyway, I really do hope they do something with the exterior of the ride. I think they should make the entrance look something like this:

I'm surprised how much better Disneyland's Peter Pan façade would look in-between the Village Haus, Bavarian Village and the new Tangled area of WDW. It wouldn't match the rest of MK's Fantasyland but then again the new Pooh queue doesn't either

That's kinda why I posted all of them ;) I agree though, it would be a nice fit and give it a very updated look but still staying in theme with its immediate surroundings. I think the detail of NFL really makes PPF, especially, look bad. Cheap. It's time for a facelift.

I don't think there would be room for Agrabah if Indy is built. There's another piece of art that shows the size of the show building needed for it and it's HUGE.

Makes Small World look kinda rough too (not terrible, but the facade is lacking next to NFL), and the ride experience for Pooh leaves some to be desired (queue and facade are fine)

I definitely think that section of Fantasyland and the Speedway/Tomorrowland in general should get the next round of TLC.

I mean if they copied the DL one exactly it'd be a perfect fit... you're right though New Fantasyland and Tangled make the left over bits of old Fantasyland look bad, but the Village Haus got a make over so it's really only PP, Small World and that roof at the Tea Cups that have yet to be addressed

Well then! I'd be fine with Magic Carpets staying since it's a kiddie ride that never hurt anybody. If it meant something that great was added! I'd love to see a volcano for the mine cart coaster and Jungle Cruise. A lava monster chases after the cart... good for theming. Plus, it'd give Adventureland two E-tickets.

I cannot even begin to imagine the backlash Disney would face if they even ever hinted at taking It's A Small World out of Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom. This may be the strangest suggestion you have ever made, and that is saying something!

Speedway is still an eyesore from the Tea-Cups/Storybook Circus side of things. And Fantasyland needs an E-ticket still (SDMT is too short; Small World is sorta, not really, one; Little Mermaid is a solid C ticket) - Frozen or B&TB would be perfect for a trackless dark ride.

The idea for the mine coaster did have you going over lava, so there's that.

I love how people are so ambitious to agree with me that it's a small world should move to Epcot, but then are not willing to do anything but repurpose the old building...

If it's a small world moves to Epcot (again, fanboy wish, not actually happening) then the next move is to demo the old building (or at least part of it).

That pathway needs to be opened, and that area opens up to put in up to 3 major attractions.
