Well. I don't like peanuts. Or peanut butter. BUT the last time we were in WDW I kept seeing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches everywhere. I didn't like the idea of it much, but I wanted to see what the fuss was about, so I bought an 'uncrustable'. Wow! I was hooked! DH and I loved them, but our 2 DDs did not. We had a few during our holiday and forgot about them.

A few months ago, I don't know why, but I had a sudden craving for one of these sandwiches (no I'm not pregnant!). I searched the internet for a supplier of uncrustables in the UK, but found nothing. I finally found a website that sold American food in the UK, and bought a jar of Jif peanut butter, and a jar of Smuckers grape jelly, at an astronomical price (about £14). DH and I enjoyed a few weeks of PB and Js, which did not help our weight loss at all!

We're hoping to go back to WDW in Oct/Nov, and are trying to hold out for more PB and Js until then.

By the way, I don't think I could even try peanut butter with pickle!:hurl:

Since everyone else here has said creamy, I think I'm gong to have to rep the crunchy side of the argument. I love crunchy peanut butter. And we always get store brand.

I have no gross combination, but I do think that everyone would enjoy a peanut butter and nutella sandwich.

Publix supermarkets sell a store brand that is all natural - just peanuts, no additives, sugar or salt. Good stuff. I like the crunchy version, on whole wheat with a drizzle of honey.

Crunchy Peter Pan! Unfortunately I've been forced to switch over to JIF.

I used to go through a huge jar of peanut butter every two weeks. I would melt some creamy Peter Pan in the microwave and dip apple slices, bananas, or celery in it. Now I just stick with peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

I like pickles, but only on the side. Never in a sandwich.

ALTHOUGH, when they are sitting next to potato chips and make the chips kind of mushy, then they're okay. Damp, pickly potato chips are really good! :lol:

Chocolate and peanut butter are AMAZING together.
Turkey Hill makes "Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup" ice cream.
It is incredible.

The only times I ever had Crunchy was with my grandpa, many moons ago. :lol: From what I remember, I loved it, but I kinda have to go with creamy. As far as brands go, pretty much anything goes.

I always buy creamy Jif - a great snack is 'ants on a log' , celery stick with peanut butter spread inside and raisins on the top - it's better thinking of it as ants than as something else. :lookaroun

Same here (sans the honey though). My friends think I am weird... just cause I like PB sammichs (NO JELLY!!). I am not a big jelly fan. Unless its like super fresh stawberry jam... then I make the exception (but then again thats jam and not jelly :lol: ).

Jelly tastes too fake and blech. My palate is too fancy I guess. :lol: :lookaroun

I miss the flavored peanut butters that were only sold for a very short amount of time, especially the chocolate mousse flavor!:slurp:

PB is the ONLY item on a PB sandwich for me.
And I don't like the two slices of bread on top of each other.
They have to be next to each other.
Each cut into four equal pieces.
And that is no lie. :lol:
