The Disney lawyers after all are the ones who covered up the Chinese Theater with the Sorcerer Hat in DHS because they lost the rights to use the theater, so... /s

If they lost the rights to use the theatre, it would have been torn down and not just covered up. That legend is not true at all. The real theatre in CA was constructed in 1927, so the architecture is not covered by copyright law since it was built before 1976.

I thought the legend was that in like the 90s or whatever they changed the contract so whenever the Chinese Theater was in a picture Disney had to pay licensing rights. So Disney decided to hid it from Public view. Not sure if that's true either or not but that's what I heard.
