News Paradise Pier Becoming Pixar Pier

I'm not saying that, from what I've seen online, that Pixar Pier isn't a totally underwhelming overlay, but isn't the best judge of whether it's succeeding with the general public or not is to compare before and after wait times?

Personally I don’t think so. And definitely not right after it opens.

I think it'll be a terrific set of supporting attractions once Star Wars opens. It's no reason to go to Orlando right now. I was just at Bryce last week - enjoy!

I'm kinda feeling the same way about DLR TBH. I'm visiting LA right now and toyed with the idea of hitting DLR while I'm here, but decided to pass (again).

I'm having a great time sightseeing - The Grove/Farmer's Market, partying in West Hollywood, LACMA, and the Griffith Observatory.

At the moment I'm enjoying a Manhattan at the W Hotel in Hollywood and tomorrow we head to Catalina island. Disneyland? No thanks.

That's the staircase the Rocketeer ran up before flying off the roof.

can be misleading, tho -
closest to truth in that regard, of course, being the posted and actual times along with the difference between the two ;) (if any)

The thrill level is mostly the same though. They’re also both cute, colorful and short. The problem is that Slinky should be more than that.
Why should it be more? Why shouldn't it be exactly what it appears to be, a mid/low thrills family coaster that the park desperately needed.

LOL. Do you realize how insanely tiny the boundaries for these freebie tickets are? This is literally the adjacent neighborhood next to where all the construction is happening for the new parking garage and now the new hotel. I'd imagine it's going to be pretty disruptive there for the next year, so it sounds like Disney is just trying to get in their good graces in order to keep complaints to a minimum (and other city politics reasons that DarkBeer can probably explain better than I) while they start to get a lot more aggressive with construction. See below.... Hilarious you think this is about Pixar Fest.

Yeah, I don't think it has anything to to with Pixar Pier flopping. I've yet to hear that it's not crowded.
