That iron door has a very speak-easy vibe, like its a special hidden entrance.

That's what I was thinking. Would make a lot of sense if Pixar Pier was 1920's themed. How cool that would be. A 1920's themed boardwalk!

You should absolutely go to Story Tellers Café in the Grand Californian Hotel. It is super relaxing, always quiet (even on busy days) and the prices are great, amazing food too. Best sit down outside of Blue Bayou in my opinion.

I’m going there for breakfast one morning for I’m staying at that hotel. I love the relaxing feel to it. Thanks!

Yeah, there is quite a bit of theming going on in the Pixar Pier project that some aren't realizing.

If you are going to Blue Bayou I highly recommend the Rack of Lamb or Surf and Turf. Amazing place.

Ralph Brenan's Jazz Kitchen in DtD is great as well. Best DtD restaurant easily.

Thanks for pointing this out. I think it still has that 1920’s California Boardwalk feel that Paradise Pier had, just now it has some more Pixar in it!

I had it during the 60th, it was good.

After we first ordered it my fiancé wanted me to learn how to cook it and now I grill it every few weeks. Definitely a great choice. Very special place.

How large is it? Should I share it with the other person on the trip with me?

Just to clarify,

I was talking about not using the time to re-paint (or at least clean) the entire structure (which is mostly white), not fixing the rattling old lighting strip(s), or replacing the old lightbulbs; as seen at 1:37 in the video.

I don’t think so. That attraction was almost too popular to be closed down for a paint job.

Also, this Inside Out neighborhood won’t come till’ 2019-2020. But I can’t help but notice that the attraction looks like Filk’s Flyers with a paint job. I guess the attraction will be at the pier once construction on Marvel Land starts.

Yes, the consensus is that the ride mechanism will move to the old Maliboomer pad at some point and be rethemed.
