I do like the red lighting around the entire coaster track. Looks really nice. Although with the zooming in, you can see they didn’t repaint the interior of Midway Mania. Still looks pink/peach colored to me, meanwhile the exterior is red/blue/white/yellow. TSMM has been closed for what, two weeks now? They couldn’t find time to paint the inside to match the outside?
Maybe. But just goes to show they should have closed the entire pier (including TSMM) for the entire 5 months rather than leaving it open during construction. Could have had a much nicer finished product if they hadMaybe they were on a tight schedule?

Anybody else notice the rattling lighting strip on incredicoaster around the helix? Overall things are coming together and looking nice. Pixar Promenade is the surprise home run. Is the red making the pier look like halloween horror nights thought? a bit dark. I just still can't get over that, Lamplight lounge, and my curiosity of how "effective" those impaled jack-jacks will be on the ride.
Lamplight lounge--what is with that chandelier? pieces of paper hanging from the ceiling? We can't even see the art because its all too far away. It would be more understandable if the atrium was surrounded by a spiral staircase, but even then, it would still look half baked.

I don't think it's the same but I would absolutely recommend Steakhouse 55, love the place. Did my 25 year work anniversary there in October. Then make a stop at Trader Sam's around the corner for a fun atmosphere and some good tiki drinks.I am doing a dining package for Carthay Circle. I’ve planned going to Napa Rose one night. I’ll give Steakhouse 55 a try, but is it similar to Le Cellier in Epcot?

Looks like it’s overpriced AND just mediocre atmosphere. I would definitely go with something like the Blue Bayou instead.

All I notice is that weird iron door. This place is very strangely designed.
Seems like an Eisner-era building to me.
That's what I was thinking. Would make a lot of sense if Pixar Pier was 1920's themed. How cool that would be. A 1920's themed boardwalk! That iron door has a very speak-easy vibe, like its a special hidden entrance.
Overpriced and mediocre food is the Blue Bayou. I know I much preferred Lobster Nachos at the Cove Bar to the tourist trap that is The Blue Bayou. Its the Rainforest Cafe of Disneyland.
