That I get, and agree. But a lot can be done in construction in 3 weeks. So lets see, they may surprise you.
I wonder if Disney will have time to update the restrooms at Pixar Pier. Magic Mountain is updating their restroom in their boardwalk area with this little gem:

Cata-Poop
Later this month we’re introducing a uniquely designed game, Cata-Poop. In this bathroom contest, you’ll need to launch an object and flush it right down the toilet bowl. You’ll be able to win rainbow poop emoji hats, pillows, and stuffed plush prizes.

Disney always follows when it comes to DCA so hopefully we will see a Brave version of this.

Nah, that is for Pixar Pier 2.0 ;)

If you don't mind me asking, what specifically stands out in said pictures?

The Incredicoaster station, arch, Poultry Palace, anything past the midway games (which I don't think they're even attempting to open this month - the Bing Bong store area down there already has been pushed to TBD).

I'm not saying they can't get this stuff done, I'm just saying they're further behind than they should be and as a construction novice, it doesn't look like they're in great shape.

I'm not really surprised. The schedule to get this all done was overly ambitious.

Thanks. One would have to think if there is indeed a need to sacrifice certain items, things like Poultry Palace and the Midway games would be good candidates. I think most here would agree that the Pixar Pier concept has been somewhat of a mess since its announcement. This whole rolling opening concept and not having certain things ready for the grand debut has, to me, looks inept and downright dumb already but to get to the grand opening date and not have Incredicoaster and/or the Mickey's Fun Wheel not ready for prime time would be downright embarrassing and a failure in my opinion. I'm not just saying that because of my upcoming trip either, honestly. Those are the kinds of mistakes that get people fired.....unfortunately, it'll probably be some low and/or mid-level manager(s) who were saddled with unrealistic expectations as opposed to the higher ups who are really responsible.

What a grand opening this will be.

Your riding The Incredicoaster through a construction filled station & construction filled pier. Why is this taking so dang long?

Refurbishment schedule now shows TSMM closed for refurbishment on 6/7 and 6/10-6/21
I was surprised they didn't schedule that refurbishment earlier. If you look at the model and some of the concept art you can see that pattern and color on the path along Pixar Pier is repainted. I assume they want to freshen it up before opening PP. And there's no way to paint that with people walking over it going to TSMM.
