I really don’t mind the lights...
In daylight, it looks like a giant bendy-straw.
He didn’t get a say. Disney had complete control over theme park attractions and sequels, which is why Eisner was spitefully pushing ahead with a dedicated cheapquel studio and this type of attraction development. Iger spent $7 billion to do what Eisner was going to do for free.Steve Jobs wouldn't have approved of this lapse in quality so close to the Pixar name. But I suppose the old Pixar is long gone.

He would’ve had a say over anything with the Pixar name.
Sorry, more specifically, I mean he would have had a say over the big Pixar Pier sign (in this hypothetical universe where Pixar would still be working with Disney, but not be a part of Disney).
And when looking at the sign at night, I'm sure he would have said, "Fix those ******* lights."
Of course, in this hypothetical universe, he might object to the whole pier project.
Using the Pixar name may have involved Pixar, but that original deal gave Disney unilateral control over theme parks and sequels. They did not need any permission or input from Pixar. He would’ve had a say over anything with the Pixar name.

Except that these types problems were part of retaliation against Jobs...Or maybe he'd like it. This is the guy after all that marketed the phase, "Think Different". You obviously don't know Steve's personality. Steve was known for being irreverent. So he wouldn't have thought of a theme park as being sacred, untouchable, and having some set of rules. In that way he was like Walt. He would have been in favor of Iger tearing down half of DLR (including "classics") in favor of building the latest technological marvel. And he wouldn't have cared at all what fans thought while it was being done.

Eisner's retaliation against Jobs for Pixar walking away from Disney. What? What retaliation?
Eisner's retaliation against Jobs for Pixar walking away from Disney.
Ok, but Eisner is not in charge of Disney now. And Pixar is part of Disney, which made Steve at the time one of the largest shareholder at Disney. So whatever retaliation that might have been is over and done with. Unless you are saying that Pixar is still secretly being directed by some 13-14 year old grudge against a dead man by a man who no longer runs Disney.
Which by the way has nothing to do with the discussion of Steve's hypothetical opinion on Pixar Pier.

And I get that, but Steve was not as concerned about all details as his public image portrayed. So it’s like saying Walt wouldn’t like xyz. The man is dead so we don’t know what he would have liked/disliked about Pixar Pier.Right, all I meant was once upon a time, Pixar meant highest quality. If this is really Pixar’s Pier, how long ago that is now.

We know he didn’t like Eisner’s plans for the Pixar films that Disney controlled, including attractions like Pixar Pier. And I get that, but Steve was not as concerned about all details as his public image portrayed. Without Jobs, iTunes has certainly changed from joy-to-use into clunky, user-unfriendly pain-in-the-keister.
