I think it's cute, but I'm dumbfounded trying to figure out what this has to do with Pixar Pier. Is he some random Pixar character?

Somewhere in this Bizzarro Disney era, Chester and Hester's Dino-Rama became the acceptable level of quality for new Disney Park projects. ("It's *supposed* to look terrible, everyone! You've paid top dollar to get into a Disney park and we're serving up carny rides and plywood cutouts! Aren't we clever?)

Yep, it's right up there with selling Dead Bing Bong's candy tears in the classy department. They should sell Poop Emoji hats right next to it.

I have to tell you. I was telling my daughter about Bing Bong's candy store and she gave me that patented, teenage look of disgust and then said, "So I'll be eating his tears? That sounds like it's right out of a horror movie."

Then I showed my son the new Incredible roller coaster cars, and he asked me why Disney was trying to ruin his life. LOL

I don't know where they get it!?

It was bunk before, and it's bunk now with a cardboard character that makes me feel like I accidentally took the bus to where? Universal? Six Flags? I don't know, somewhere I have no desire to go to.

I'm looking at just the building itself, forget the Pixar character cutout. From the building aspect I like how they added ornamental side pieces. And the raised lettering that look to light up at night. As for the Yeti cutout, I couldn't care less about that, remove it does nothing for me.

I agree the building itself is fine for an ice cream stand. That's not the problem. It's the loud, tacky cutout dominating the whole thing and the accompanying urine gag that turn it into yet another chapter in the Big Book of Worst Imagineering Ever.

That was the quality wise that I was talking about though, just the building. Like I said I couldn't care less about the Yeti itself, it does nothing for me personally. In fact with the Yeti being a cutout, it can easily be removed if they want to put something else up there.

Guy Selga @guyselga: The Lemon Soft Serve from Adorable Snow Man Frosted Treats is a big winner. This is going to be a huge hit. #PixarPier

Why would the quality of construction be in question? Disney standards require high levels of finish.

Pretty sure local and federal standards require it. Disney today cares about spending as little as possible to advertise as much as possible.

EDIT: added word in bold
