At 1:05 AM...
They're not all Uni fanbois... they're also Iger haters and nostalgiacs who can't handle anything new.
Just got back from Pirates 5 and it was a resounding "meh." You all had a better Disney day than I did.@Rider you must have been right near me all evening, or at least when I was on NRJ, because your photos all coincide with my approximate locations and times! Ha! thanks for the great photos, hope you enjoyed yourself today. I know I did! Feels good to crash at the resort now....good night all. I would call today an overwhelming success.
I think it depends on what happens between now and then. Potter land opened at the very height of the Potter mania. I think the lines for a Star Wars land are going to depend on what the movies are like between now and then, how much hype is put behind it and what the plans are/revealed, and how popular the franchise is right then. I do think more people overall will want to see it, but I'm not sure if we will have as many crazies right at that moment who have to see it on the very first day.
I know this thread was for opening day but I thought I'd do an update for the day after. I arrived before 7am, walked right in (I am not a resort guest) and pandora was open to everyone. Already done FoP and the wait time was however long it took you to walk through the line. About to get into line for RJ. Shouldn't be too bad.
They were open at 6am??I know this thread was for opening day but I thought I'd do an update for the day after. I think a 3 hour wait for a bored passholder is reasonable for FoP. I'd do it if I had nothing else to do today. That ride is amazing.I'm heading over today as I have a fastpass for NRJ. So hoping that I can bypass the line to get into Pandora, FP the NRJ and then just stand in the 3 hour wait for FOP. We'll see what today brings!
Looks like another non-resort guest got in this morning during EMH. Obviously the CMs aren't checking. Oh, what shall we do? The world is crumbling. Now that I know we have here one family who has trekked from the farthest lands of LA, I motion we all relinquish our FPs for the Pandora rides so that we can bestow them on these people who traveled so far, cancelled their room reservation, but still used the number to get in.

They let every person who was coming into the park right in, walked into the park right before 7 and there was already people in Pandora. I was expecting to wait until 8 for general public while the resort guests are allowed in at 7 but they let every person in.Wait, I thought AK didn't open til 8 this morning. They were open before 7?? If my pass wasn't a weekday select I would head over there right now, lol.
I was walking in around 6:57 so right before 7, and people were already in pandora so I'm not exactly sure when they opened today. They were open at 6am??
They literally checked no one.Looks like another non-resort guest got in this morning during EMH. Obviously the CMs aren't checking. Oh, what shall we do? The world is crumbling.
...which the CM at the gate allowed them to do.
