Yeah my guess is it wasn't reliable enough as they had some trouble getting the bioluminescence working to begin with. Having thousands of people walk on something that reacts to your steps would be an issue.

Well, TDO would never do that. Provide food maybe, but not a bonus for working an opening weekend.

Several CMs warned us by Starbucks that we may not get on anything. Took 30 min to get into Pandora, now I've been in line for FOP for 28 minutes, almost to the final room of the queue. Posted time Upon entering was 90. Definitely not accurate. They are keeping this thing moving. Same vibe as this morning, everyone very excited just to be here. No one whining or complaining in line. Good stuff! Lots of APs here too. Loving it. Today has been a good day.

Both rides have reached capacity for the night and no one else is allowed into the line queues. But the land is still open for guests to enjoy
At midnight...
And just a few minutes later, FoP isn't being listed under wait times. Prolly stopping new people from getting on line.

Yep, they had to cut it off or guests wouldn't be getting off the ride until after 2AM which EMH ends at 1AM. Then that would also be problematic for overnight maintenance.

Announced September 20, 2011, First date given for opening was 2016 and that was before official groundbreaking.
The laughable part is that the blueprints leaked in 2012, remained largely unchanged, and they didn't break ground for over a year after that.

Ah, well, why didn't you say they flew all the way from LA? They are literally the only guests on property who didn't have the luxury of all living within a six mile radius of Property. I had always heard stories of one or two families who would travel from great distances, but never having ever met any myself, I assumed the whole idea a myth, a legend. Now that I know we have here one family who has trekked from the farthest lands of LA, I motion we all relinquish our FPs for the Pandora rides so that we can bestow them on these people who traveled so far, cancelled their room reservation, but still used the number to get in.

I was told that there was a new Tree of Life Awakenings tonight for Pandora, I don't know if the CM was referring to the stuff actually in the land and misspoke, or if there was a new show on the Tree of Life Awakenings lineup. Has anyone heard anything related to that?

I know the new projectors on the backside of the tree were used for the first time. Maybe they were referring to that?
