rather never see it again...if it ever came back, just an excuse for them not to replace it...i see it going to DL as a blessing for MK...although having no night parade for who knows how long isn't fun...
Doesn't help that Spectromagic was about to get a major refurbishment while MSEP was running at WDW in 2010 and 2011 before they decided to destroy the parade entirely.

How about five parades in four parks each day?

Epcot (Tapestry Of Nations)

Animal Kingdom (Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade)

Hollywood Studios (A couple in the past such as "Toy Story Parade", "Mulan Parade", "Stars And Motors Cars Parade" and the last known being "Pixar Play Parade" which was short lived)

MK (Still runs daily parades while Spectromagic no longer exists now that MSEP is back in Disneyland)

I still remember when all 4 parks used to have it's own parades. The last park that used to have a daily parade was Jammin Jungle at AK and when that ended it results in MK being the only park that runs a parade.

And Jammin Jungle had a Holiday Overlay as well,

I both loved and hated Jammin Jungle but the hate only began post FP+ system when if you were 'trapped' by the parade you were not going to make your FP 'appointment' back in the paper days it did not matter because as long as you were close to the appointment time the CM's would usually grant FP access.

Not this stupid computer governed window where you can't be one second early or one second late. Back in the old days if you had a FP which was not valid yet but FP line was short the CM's would usually let you in if it was not crazy time and being a few minutes late was ok too. It's a THEME PARK not a COMMANDO RAID with synchronized watches...

But I have seen guests with laminated GANTT charts detailing their rides and meals, For some reason they always seem stressed and miserable as they try to squeeze out all the 'value' from their WDW vacation,

As for DW and I if the small fry want to ride dumbo 5 times well dumbo gets ridden 5 times, Surprisingly there are no in park meltdowns because the small fry are happy enjoying Disney along with parents and grandparents. (Enjoyment != Number of Attractions Ridden)

Isn't it simply amazing how these pretty straightforward press releases always lead to the same people reading way too far between the lines?

Actually not, WDW fans are SO desperate for some love from Disney they read things into the press releases, As for me I simply put my green eyeshade on, sharpen my #3 pencils and line them up on the desk and think 'What would a soulless cost accountant do at WDW' and extrapolate from there...

I wonder if any merchandise and food vendors along main street (and elsewhere along the parade routes) aren't making as much as they did when there was a parade and people were standing around waiting an hour for it to start.

Then again maybe that hour they think people are elsewhere spending so could be a wash... but I doubt it

Apparently MSEP will run at DL until June... maybe then it will come back to WDW until the new parade gets built?Would hate to see it come back but Disney did say it was going to DL for a "limited time".

Limited time only Nostalgia Parade will appear until the new parade 'gets built' :)

I remember during my past trips to WDW back in 2004 and 2006 when FP was new and wasn't as widespread is it is now. Planning a trip to the resorts weren't that stressing.

Honestly getting tired of "maybe PTN is coming to WDW!!" constantly. Walt Disney World will be without a nighttime parade until the 50th at the earliest. These entertainment cuts have been years in the making. Started with Epcot and Tapestry of Dreams and continued through each park until the only park left with a parade is Magic Kingdom.

I hope Disneyland makes the pixie dust effects work like they did unlike WDW where it was out of sync since the Pixie dust sound are made yet the pixie dust don't show up.

Well why can't they wishfully think for a new parade instead of desperately clinging onto the past like some middle aged adult who is longing for his or her youth?

Because they know in their deep pixie dusted hearts that DIS will never fund a new night time parade for WDW because TDO is too cheap to pay for it, The old parades well MAYBE TDO would be willing to pay the shipping...
