In the Parks
No
Where is the old LuminAria building?
It's now called Embarcadero Gifts where they sell Little Mermaid merch and pins and at Halloween would set up a Coco ofrenda display.

And yeah, I think it's still closed.

Oh yeah, I forgot to change it. Let me fix it.

Six Flags?

😂🤦🏾‍♀️ I don’t like Pixar Pier, but what?
I was speaking specifically about the design of the food vendors. What used to be interesting and thematic is just loud and boxy. Incredicoaster is laughably bad in terms of the Disnification of the original attraction. The whole stretch between Incredicoaster to SSS just feels so generic and modern amusement park. The only exception is Midway Mania, which is not great, but still manages to be pretty fun.

The change in color scheme to Midway Mania is atrocious. I expected it to grow on me but it’s just bad.

Well they do serve soup in the same bread bowls in NOS.

Which makes me fear those will go away, too, if PWC does, since they come from the same central bakery (Boudin) daily.

Yep, and there are people that swear the bread bowls are better at DCA because they get the fresher stuff... the Disneyland stuff is older. I never tested it myself, and never bothered asking my friend who worked at the Boudin Bakery but it makes sense.

What are the odds of them actually doing this bridge? They can't even do the Tomorrowland entrance.
I see them putting up Chinese lanterns, renaming the restaurants and setting up a m&g in first room of the bakery.

I know I'm a bit late here, have been extremely busy with the new semester but man am I relieved I didn't wake up early on my weekend day to watch the Parks Panel, what a disaster / disappointment of a weekend. So initially hearing the idea of retheming Pacific Wharf to San Fransokyo I was excited because I love the aetshetic of BH6, actually, but the concept art is pathetic. Some lanterns hung up on the existing buildings, plus adding the tower parts of the bridge while leaving the sides of the bridge there, making the bridge look just wrong and cluttered. I get that's there for structural reasons but maybe a multi billion dollar company can afford to build a new bridge that actually looks good when they nickel and dime every customer in every division of their brand. Obviously not a new sentiment but this D23 really solidified how awful modern Disney is, my only silver lining is I saw even Disney bootlicker influencers who defend everything Disney does were actually criticizing the event. Disney truly believes their fans are stupid, but to a certain point they're right if they can get away with the crap they've been pumping out for years now and have seen nothing but success and growth of the parks.

At this point I just want to go back to Disneyland so I can experience all the classics and so my gf and I can try RotR for the first time, since I haven't been to GE at all but she went before the ride opened. Nothing new is even remotely interesting, I just want to visit Tokyo and other international parks and experience those places.

Also separate and random but why in the world did WDW create such a wonderful firework show, HEE, and then discontinue the show during the 50th celebration without a firework show, then add it back to the park when the celebration ended?
