Seeing as this seems like the most appropriate place to share this as we are discussing DCA, I recalled reading several years back about how a railroad was once planned for Grizzly Peak and I could have sworn I had seen concept art, but every search yielded no results; until today. I'm not sure what the actual source of this concept art is but you can see the railroad's loading in the bottom left corner.

Anyway, back to arguing about whatever we're arguing about.

Remember Muppet vision 3d? I still to this day don't understand why they took that out.
It was really important to show movie trailers. How else can anyone see a movie trailer? You can't just watch them at your home or at your local cinema.

I tweeted Disneyland Today (when that still existed) in 2013 when Captain EO was taken out for Guardians of the Galaxy Movie preview and asked if Captain EO was coming back. They told me that it was coming back, unfortunately it never did and turned into an endless cycle of movie previews and was a Star Wars clip show for 3 years. Now it is just another unused building.

Pacific Wharf is such a waste!

You take that back.

Pacific Wharf host's the Disneyland Resort's most unifying attraction- the Boudin Sourdough Bread Loaf.

Every time I go to DCA with a new group of friends, and I detour for my loaf of bread- I always get "Wow you just bought a loaf of bread for a snack".

A few minutes later, while in line and I'm enjoying my reasonably priced loaf, I start getting stares. Because they wants the bread.

So then I share.

And everyone becomes happier. And closer. Friendships are strengthened over the bread.

If Disneyland had a sourdough bread cart (with the option to order inside and get it sliced, like at DCA), there would be zero reason to ever go to DCA.

Well they do serve soup in the same bread bowls in NOS.

Which makes me fear those will go away, too, if PWC does, since they come from the same central bakery (Boudin) daily.

Yet another one of my many big complaints with modern Disney. They use their theaters for previews rather than their intended purposes! I'm still steamed about high school musical previews playing at tomorrowland theater. Like it was so out of place.

Why I don’t understand Disney shortsightedness to continue to ignore this concept proposal out of the imagineers that time. That train ride would have been wonderful add on.

meh it would have been ok, but probably really really short. I love GRR just how it is though and I like CA as a whole as well

This is exactly why I don't think Boudin will go away - it's basically resort infrastructure at this point. I'm sure they and Ghirardelli also have contracts that likely won't be renegotiated just because some Baymax lanterns are going to be hung on the buildings. It would not surprise me to see the "new" Wharf extend across the bridge and have the Baymax meet in the old LuminAria building.

Where is the old LuminAria building?
