A Wine Country land with a 20-minute train ride that serves wine, tea, water, and hors d’oeuvres circling the area would have been brilliant.
It was barely advertised at all, really. This is my first ever trip to DLR. My second day at DCA. If I didn't follow goings on at the parks I would have no idea anything was special about today.
I would also have no idea about the Baymax meet and greet. Nothing in the app. On the website. Signage in the park. Nothing. Maybe they wanted it that way to save the opportunity for the vloggers today? I'd be surprised if there were any casual park goers in that queue today.
Man, this is all so sloppy.
The only thing missing is the random Wonder Woman logo and a TV playing M&M ads. It's pretty embarrassing, frankly. They couldn't even pull off the meager new decorations promised by the concept art. It looks like something Six Flags would do to spruce up a forgotten corner of one of its parks.
Fix those screws!!
lol!
Still like it. Come at me
But enough about my 1990's dating scene... what about this DCA food court? There's no denying that everything looks better at night with filters...
The bridge has ruined sightlines from the parade route, but this has been found... it's pretty-

Also proof the bridge looks better the further away you are from it...
Bring your own screwdriver and fix it for them.I am hoping this was simply a rush to get up, and they will work on fine tuning… please.

Yep. 75% of guests don't take theme parks nearly as seriously as we do.This is why we'll keep getting garbage.
The footings of the real Golden Gate Bridge are bare concrete, so at least the look is correct.....Those plain concrete footers detract so much. If they couldn't cover it with some (cheap) plastic, they could've at least painted it the same red color so it at least blends in..
Bare concrete, especially on a bridge, reminds me of the concrete jungle that is Houston, which I see everyday
