This is my first ever trip to DLR. My second day at DCA. If I didn't follow goings on at the parks I would have no idea anything was special about today.

I would also have no idea about the Baymax meet and greet. Nothing in the app. On the website. Signage in the park. Nothing. Maybe they wanted it that way to save the opportunity for the vloggers today? I'd be surprised if there were any casual park goers in that queue today.

It was barely advertised at all, really.

Hope you’re enjoying yourself so far.

There's no denying that everything looks better at night with filters... does look nice. But that garish turbine behind the Ghirardelli sign really detracts. The bridge looks much better at night with the lights on the cables... but man it looks horrible during the day.

This is TDA Perfection.

Give a theme park restaurant a location name that means absolutely nothing to actual customers, but is understood by cubicle workers and Dockers-clad managers. Because who cares about Showmanship or the actual customers?

The fact that this park hasn't had a parade in years, and thus has nothing to perform in this corridor, is almost irrellevent. Or actually makes it even better. They're idiots at this point. 🤣

Golden Vine Winery is now found in Performance Corridor.

Using this charmless and oblivious standard, the possibilities are endless...

Pirates of the Caribbean is found in New Orleans Square.... 1966 Expansion.

Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway is located in Mickey's Toontown... Building N19

Din Tai Fung will soon debut in Downtown Disney... Plot #S42

I don't know about you guys, but I'm certainly immersed in this magic. Aren't you immersed? I'm immersed. 🫤

The bridge has ruined sightlines from the parade route, but this has been found... it's pretty-

Also proof the bridge looks better the further away you are from it...

Those plain concrete footers detract so much. If they couldn't cover it with some (cheap) plastic, they could've at least painted it the same red color so it at least blends in..

Bare concrete, especially on a bridge, reminds me of the concrete jungle that is Houston, which I see everyday :D

The footings of the real Golden Gate Bridge are bare concrete, so at least the look is correct.....
