I've been skimming walk through videos and, from what I can tell, the turbines look shocking artificial for something that is supposed to hover. However, I couldn't see if the windmill actually turns. Does it?

I'll only be impressed if they actually kill live birds, and spray their guts n' feathers on the walkways below. Like real wind turbines do.

I recall reading either on twitter or here how the bases for the turbines weren't finished yet. Well, here we are, grand opening tomorrow... still just the tubular steel.

Disney has nearly 70 years of master planning, urban design and themed environmental experience and San Fransokyo reflects nothing of that.

No forced perspective on the Torii Gate Bridge, no attempt to give the turbines “tethered” movement, and Spider Bots are being sold at the Maker’s Market.

This park’s reputation will always precede it.

An overpriced, overcrowded outlet mall food court.

Let me know if there is anything you want photos of. I am not planning on joining the queue to meet Baymax though. The children aren't interested. I assume the queue today is mostly vloggers?
