I think most people don't really look at all the flags so yes I agree most weren't aware. I think I would qualify the American Adventure as a museum. I think to do that sort of attraction you have to be respectful of the history. I think if Disney can't respect the history they really don't have the moral right to put on that type of historical attraction. The removal of the flag from that hall is minor but it's the intention that bothers me. What's next removing the civil war element from the show. Ben Franklin and Mark Twain can walk out and say America was born and all was great. They force people to look at all the hard times in our country to help us appreciate the good.I don't.
I think that this is one of the first times that people will realize they had it on display.
Besides, society is changing. It's not meant for public display anymore. Museums? Sure. Living History? Sure.
