Retro-Land!
nes-classic-edition.png

An opening-day land in Fantastic Worlds is a land themed to Retro Nintendo franchises, ones that aren't as big as Mario or Zelda. There will be several details and references, such as a gigantic playable Game & Watch system,an arcade with games such as Donkey Kong, Radar Scope, and VS Super Mario Brothers, a Punch-Out themed boxing ring in the middle (which holds actual boxing matches from time to time), as for dining options; there's Sheriff's Saloon, a bar and sit-down restaurant themed to Sheriff, and Wart's Veggie Machine, a vegan counter service joint run by Wart from Super Mario Bros 2. And for attractions; there's 3: ROB Spin, a Hexentanz ride themed to ROB, Startropics: The Adventure, a dark ride telling the events of the game, and The Summit, a roller coaster where you follow the Ice Climbers through a mountain, similar to Expedition Everest.

Bonus: Arch-To Island will be coming soon to Animal Kingdom, it will have Jedi Temples and Alien Milk, yum!

Hoenn

To appease to pokefans who are getting sick of seeing kanto and to bring in both old (people who grew up during gen 3) and new (people who grew up during the gen 3 remakes) pokefans, Universal announced a new land based on the Hoenn region. Hoenn will cointain three new attractions: Pokemon Snap, a ride based on the n64 game of the same name, where guests capture pokemon via camera, pictures of the pokemon will be shown at the end of the ride as well as a tally showing how many each person caught, Battle Frontier, a new ar experience where guests battle pokemon, people can even bring in a copy of their game to bring their competitive team to life, and Escape from Hoenn, a rollercoaster where guests have to escape from Hoenn after Archie and Maxie unleash Groudon and Kyogre causing the poke-apocalypse, with a big finale involving Rayquaza saving the day.
BONUS: Star Wars: Galatic Beginnings will be a new mini land in Epcot that will feature stuff from the prequels, such as pod racers, the diner, and sand!

SUPER SMASH WORLD
This area has a unique retrofuturistic design with sleek buildings, sharp arches, and bright neon colors, being themed around Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace.

The land's primary attraction is The Smashing Escape, a Soarin' style motion simulator that has Samus and Pikachu freeing guests (who take the role of imprisoned experiments) and leading them through a labyrinthian lab which ends in an exciting confrontation with Master Hand and Crazy Hand!

Besides that, there's Poké Floats (an aerial carousel where guests ride Pokémon), Spirit Train (which connects the land to Super Nintendo World), Battlefield (an arcade and merchandise shop), and Final Destination (a quick service restaurant known for its delicious Fairy Bottle beverage and wide array of fast food).
****
Kashyyyk is a lush, beautiful addition to Disney's Animal Kingdom, from its towering treehouses to its unique cuisine to its attractions, which include a gunship based roller coaster where guests battle poachers and an exhibit that compares its wildlife to our own.

The Kingdom of Hyrule
oot.jpeg

Venturing through a medieval portcullis and tower fort, guests enter the realm of Hyrule from The Legend of Zelda, taking great inspiration from Ocarina of Time, set within Castle Town and the vast Kokiri Forest, the woods dominated by the enormous Great Deku Tree, hiding the Kokiri Exploration Trail, where guests can find the resting place of the Master Sword; beyond that is also a small village area, including the Happy Mask Saleman's Shop, and at the end of the trail is Tingle's Balloon Voyage, a paratower/hanging balloon ride.

Beyond the woods is Castle Town, home to two rival taverns (The Angry Goron and The Wicked Zora), the Castle Town Stage where performers recall stories from across Hyrule, the Lon Lon Milk Stand, a tall clock tower in the town square, and a sinister Knockturn Alley-like area. The land's major attraction is the Hyrule Puzzle Temple, built within the Temple of Time, housing a unique "puzzle theatre", featuring multiple interactive puzzles, like a vast escape room with numerous chambers to solve.

Bonus - Star Wars: Mountains of Hoth - The icy planet of Hoth comes to life within Animal Kingdom, lined with mountains, with an E-ticket rollercoaster whipping around the mountains, avoiding AT-AT walkers and Wampas alike.

Ummmm.... "Super Nintendo World" is a land that features any and all of Nintendo IPs. A "Nintendo-based land", then, wouldn't have anything that couldn't also appear in "Super Nintendo World."

So, for example, the "Super Nintendo World" that Universal is building in Orlando could have Zelda, Super Mario Brothers, Donkey Kong, Pokemon, Kirby, Metroid, Yoshi, etc... included. They're all Nintendo IPs. But then we're asked to come up with a whole land based on Nintendo IP.

I don't see the difference.

According to Theme Park University, the Orlando one may not have Mario or Donkey Kong.

We’re considering for this challenge Super Nintendo World as was intended for Orlando’s Kidzone before it was moved to Site B, so only MK, Yoshi, and Donkey Kong are taken in account as Super Nintendo World, however, we consider extremely likely that there will be at least another Nintendo themed Land in Fantastic Worlds, therefore this Land could go from Hyrule to Kanto to something more out of the box. :D

Please refer to the background information section, where it specifically states that you are to think of 'outside the box' concepts for this land.

Use your imagination. Assume anything you want for the Super Nintendo World. There is a whole library of possibilities aside from the ones you mentioned for a potential 2nd Nintendo land.

Also Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade contain the same characters and same IP and there's no issue...so...

You're missing the logical impossibility in the way the contest was worded. You may have had a specific idea in mind, but, what you wrote had a logical inconsistency.

"Super Nintendo World", by it's very name, could already contain all the Nintendo IPs. This makes it impossible to "think outside the box" because everything is already in the first box and what's left outside is a null set.

Universal didn't build a "Wizarding World of Harry Potter Land", they built a Hogsmead Land. Building a Hogsmeade Land meant that other locations were available for other lands. But if they didn't say it was Hogsmeade, but just a "Wizarding World of Harry Potter", then how could you build a different Harry Potter Land if you didn't know what was going to be in the first (or only) Wizarding World of Harry Potter? You could wind up building a second Hogsmeade.

Anyway @DisneyFan18 cleared it up by pointing out that SNW is just the IPs of MK, Yoshi, and Donkey Kong. So, now I know what is "outside the box." :)

There was nothing logically inconsistent about it. It's a simple challenge that you are overanalyzing.
