I thought the consensus was that it should have gone to Tokyo Disneyland as an addition to the Fantasyland expansion.
It will physically unify the parks, so it’s like a transition land from the semi-cartoony Arabian Coast to the classic Fantasyland. DisneySea needs extra content more than Disneyland, and more for families as well.

On paper a Toy Story Mania shouldn’t fit in DisneySea at all, yet they incorporated it beautifully. With similar thoughtful execution, Fantssy Springs should be amazing!

This.. There will be a Hotel and passageway between the two parks..

@D Hindley I think I might be going back to Japan for a longer duration next time.

I'm also pleasantly surprised with the content of the port. 2 E-tickets, a C/D dark ride, and a B/C flat, along with 3 restaurants. And what are the chances that Fantasy Springs anticipation is going to be a large part of DisneySea's 20th as well?

Has just as much place in DisneySea as

And to say it doesn't belong because it doesn't recreate a real place explicitly ignores the existence and the precedent of the above.

Ugh! Their old entry plaza was the nicest looking place in the whole park, so of course they're bulldozing it. Present Hershey management makes the worst decisions! That coaster looks redundant too, just a Skyrush with better restraints.

What does S.P.E.W think?
Now, I have not seen the old entrance, but looking at the concept for the new one, I do think it’s too modern. And I do agree with your opinion on the coaster.
