So... my husband thinks I'm strange for giving the house a thorough cleaning before we leave. I think he's crazy for wanting to wash the car before we go.

I gave the house a thorough cleaning yesterday, but will have to do a touch up tomorrow because things have been pulled out and tossed around while packing.

We're all packed, but can't pack the stuff into the car til morning so that nothing freezes. I vacuumed, dusted, scrubbed the kitchen and bathroom, and washed the linens so the house will be clean when we come back in March. Of course, now my son might be coming while we're gone to confirm more wedding details, so all that cleaning might be for naught.

I painted mouldings and got a new comforter set this weekend - new bedroom furniture/mattress and dining room set coming on THURSDAY!! So excited!!!

Yes indeedy! We decided we want to stop in Asheville,NC on the way down to check out the Biltmore estate, so we're going to leave Roanoke Wednesday and spend Wednesday night in Asheville. Then we'll be with friends in Jacksonville on Thursday and on to the condo on Friday!
