So... my husband thinks I'm strange for giving the house a thorough cleaning before we leave. I think he's crazy for wanting to wash the car before we go.

It's going to be a long drive.....

I do the same thing. I cannot stand to have chores waiting back home just after returning from a long trip. I usually change oil, clean, yard work, and any & every task I can think of eliminating prior to heading outta town...so it won't be looming in my subconscious during the trip, and especially won't be staring right at me upon returning. I'm usually more active in getting things accomplished the week before a trip than I am the entire rest of the year.

So it's in the 50's already today. Glad I saved getting gas for this morning.

New furniture comes tomorrow! I am sp excited - I took the day off of work and it's not coming until between 1 and 4 so I am going to spend the morning cleaning and getting the bedding and china ready to take their place in their new homes. YAY!!!!

So we drove across the mountains and through a major storm front today. We're under a tornado watch at the moment, but the rain seems to be easing up. Off to FL tomorrow!!!!

So we checked in at the gate around 8:30 pm. The guard was wearing a winter coat and gloves. I just checked the temp outside - it's 60!
