Oh, those poor Ingalls girls...

Yes - but she feels that someone there is leaking info about her. The stalker has bragged about all of his connections in the local PD. We are currently using all of ours to find out is going on. She is still in her apartment, but we will move her, if need be...even if one of our "friends" has to go with us and we have to do a transfer. I told my husband one way to do it, so she may be willing to try tomorrow.

She will be a lot safer here. We have a lot of nosy neighbors who would notice anybody "new" and we have secret ways to get around. Plus, most of us are armed.

There is nothing scarier than someone who is not in their right mind and has ideas to how they want things to be. This girl is very fortunate to have your help. Good luck with everything - hoping for some positive news soon.

So it was 17 degrees here when I left to get my hair cut this morning, but now it's up to a bright and balmy 19. The good news? We only got about an inch of snow last night. Have I mentioned that I really hate winter?

5 more days!!!

I have concluded that my children are painfully spoiled. They are walkers, so I drive them to school. The drop off is about 10 feet from the school door. I warm up the car every morning so they walk the 30 or so feet from the front door to the warm car (our driveway is on the side of the house), drive the 3 minutes to school in toasty warm comfort, walk the 10 feet to the school door and then do the reverse at the end of the day. My daughter doesn't wear a jacket - she prefers a hooded sweatshirt. Why not? She's never exposed to the elements!!! She actually remarked to me that it wasn't that cold this morning - this as I had just finished cleaning the snow off the car and couldn't feel my fingers (and I was wearing gloves!!)

Perhaps she could clean the car off for you the next time....

So I think I'm going to get my husband an electric shaver. He uses a blade and has been complaining intermittantly over the past few years that he would like to try an electric. He's around construction sites mostly (at work) so it's not important to get a perfectly clean shave, he just wants to be somewhat neat and tidy. And a few bottles of red wine so if he doesn't like the razor he can just forget about it.

Sounds like a plan. Any idea what kind?

I picked up a Norelco wet/dry something or other. Consumer reports rated it highly and online reader reviews said it shaves almost as close as a blade. Now, I'm sure THAT'S not true but I figured it was worth a shot! I'm going to stop at the liquor store for the wine later today. I think I am also going to get an iphone docking station clock for our room - the clock is on his side of the bed and VERY old and dated - and since we just bought new furniture it's just not going to look right!! AND I thought the 25th was Thursday bit it's Friday so that gives me an extra day. It's not like it's a milestone birthday or anything so a few gifts without a big hoopla should be OK. Then I get to sit back and see what he comes up with for MY big fat milestone birthday next week!

You can take that anti-winter petition and shove it up your..er, um, in your garbage!

And come a sticky mid-July afternoon, you'll thank me you did it.

Embrace the cold & love it while it's here!
