On a lighter note, the robins arrived this morning. My yard, tree, and multi-tiered fountain) are full of them. I put out extra food so they can really chow down before their flight.

They usually disappear within a day or two.

We had rain. With some hail mixed in. The flower beds were covered with small icy pellets this morning. My kids were fascinated by it.

We are scheduled to go into sub zero weather here over the long weekend. I think I'd prefer the snow.

So my husband's birthday is a week from tomorrow. I pretty much drained the idea well with gifts for Christmas. What the heck can I get him??!
