Maybe in her opinin it was?
It doesn't matter what her opinion was' it is not consistent with this

Those are the rules all Epcot Attractions must follow whether individual Imagineers like it or not. Sorry'if I sound a bit hostile but hearing Kathy Mangum talk about the Living Seas like that made my blood boil.

I always thought hydrolators were more a forced delay in entering and exiting the pavilion. I resented them for making the wait time just that much longer.

Now that they are gone, I appreciate their role in the illusion of a descent to the ocean floor. None of that anymore - everything is just inside that sliding glass door.

With that new found appreciation for the role of the hydrolator, I'm still glad they are gone. :lookaroun (I'm glad for the return of the seacabs though. :king: )

Funny, I see the word entertain is listed first, which the first part of The Seas does.

Then I see inform. Dolphin, manatee, and diver presentations certainly do that, as well as the small exhibits. Turtle Talk is a nice way for little ones to learn about the sea.

Inspire? Seeing all the things that man can do to help/hurt the ocean sure inspires me to do my part.

I'm curious...what did I miss. I don't see "No characters in Future World" anywhere.

True, but they did keep a wonderful and consistent flow for the pavilion...Illusion too.

Show> Efficiency

You missed personal opinion of fanboys being subsituted for rational thought.

A dying pavilion that that doesn't bring in guest but gives a fanboy a warm fuzzy is more important than a pavilion that reaches several age groups and uses current classics to entertain, inform, and inspire.

It's not about Epcot. It never is. It's about fanboy's idea of what they think Epcot should be.

They still won't explain how MILF fits in Tomorrowland.
They don't have to. You refuse to accept that it is there. That's pretty much the end of it. Intra-dimensional travel.

It's soul didn't really change until Nemo came in.
Inanimate objects can't have souls.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....Here we go.:D:lookaroun

I find that adhering to a park's dedication plaque and aims rational thought. They have broken with that.

Current classic? Sounds like a oxymoron. They could have kept it current, used Nemo, even and still taught or inspired something. Anything. Now, it barely does that. Barely.

I base what EPCOT should be off what it was, and what they said it would be. They never said it would be this.:wave:

EPCOT isn't a object. It's a place. A place has a soul.
