Norway Pavilion Frozen construction - Frozen Ever After ride

Sorry if this was mentioned already in the thread but I was told by a couple of sources that being behind schedule and budget cuts has actually changed the entire attraction. Apparently it will no longer be as magical as expected or as glorious as they mentioned. My personal thing on this would be that Disney at this point just wants to release the attraction to bring in more numbers and to say "hey look we finally have a new attraction for you"

Oh well that sounds lovely given we were already dealing with a low budget and existing infrastructure to begin with...

Are there any credible sources to back up ANY of this, or is this just typical speculation born from the pessimism that often runs wild through these boards like my nephew when he's had too much sugar and wants to play "The Tackle Game" at me? (Notice I say "at", not "with", because "The Tackle Game" pretty much consists of him backing up as far as space allows, running into me full tilt and shouting "Taaaaaaackle!")

I'll say this as one of the most vocal opponents of the placement of this attraction. The word "escape" in the title gives me some home that an effort will be made to better integrate this into World Showcase.
How so?

Because it's going in World Showcase.

Yes, we should wait, because it might magically open in MK instead of the Norway pavilion in Epcot.

Okay, now you're moving the goalposts. First you complain that it's behind schedule and overbudget. When I point out that there's no solid confirmation of that, you start with the tired old saw of "cartoon characters don't belong in EPCOT". Which has absolutely NOTHING to do with how much it costs or how long it's taking.

Indeed. I think we can all agree that Frozen doesn't belong in Norway but that's a topic beaten to death and continuing to talk about it accomplishes nothing.

But I've seen no indication that there was any "budget cuts" or that the ride will be "cheap" beyond the obvious information that Maelstrom was re-purposed to have a project that was otherwise cheaper than building from scratch. There was some mention that some early plans included converting all of Norway to an Arendelle pavilion but that was either scrapped or was seriously considered to begin with.

There's some that dislike this project and seem to want to further condemn to by implying that the budget for he ride itself has been slashed or compromised, but I'm under the impression that the ride itself will actually be quite good (and well funded) given the circumstance with high quality AAs and effects. That doesn't excuse the placement or the capacity concerns but we can at least be hopefully that the experience of the ride (in isolation) will be good.

I never said anything about the schedule or budget. You said not to complain until it's open, but my only complain at this point is the location which we for a fact won't change.
