Why would the cover a beautiful stone facade with normal run of the mill siding? Did they run to lowes or Home Depot last minute? Not even mentioning the color. I am okay with Frozen going there at this point but they have totally ruined the facade and the feel of the Norway pavilion. I hope this drastically improves before opening. Sigh.

The yellow itself is not horrendous on its own. But it clashes horribly with the nice rockwork on each side.

Saw it in person today. The yellow isn't bad as the pics make it seem. But I don't like the new entrance rock work. That seems to clash against the rest of the building far more than the yellow.

Yeah the pics makes it look a lot worse than it is, but in my opinion, it's just kinda clashing in general.

The whole area just kinda looks off. I'm not sensitive to change as a thing. But something is just not working yet with the look of the old maelstrom facade. However I'm open to what the whole package will look like.

WDW is one of the most photographed places on earth. WDI shouldn't have removed the scrims until the aging was completed.

Yeah, not sure what compelled them to remove the scrim. No one needs to see this view.

The opening where the boats used to appear above the waterfall going backwards is plugged up.

I hope they blend out the new rockwork with the old. At least age it a bit. Maybe add some bird poop or something.

Why is the new yellow facade showing the SIDE of a house/building? Or is that what the front of a house looks like in Norway? I cant tell. It does clash horribly tho.

You know the video clip of the construction...especially the last few glances at this "yellow" section really makes me wonder what the heck they have in mind...looks like they just threw it in there...

Thanks for posting. I still don't understand what the rock mountain is supposed to be. Probably because it's (I'm assuming) not finished...

The building with the red accents is rather pretty.

I am sure there is a plan for the yellow part of the building...not sure it is an improvement over the original ride entrance though, The Meet and Greet area is lovely..I always knew they would do a nice job with this...whether or not I believe it should be in Epcot...lol but we beat that horse... Now I just want them to get the damn thing done and over with.
