For a lot of iPod users, it's a loyalty to Apple. I like to use all Apple products as much as I can; I have an iPod, iBook G4, and an Apple keyboard. We know that our Apple products just work, are easy to use, and pleasing to the eye. I did a lot of research before buying my iPod, and I found nothing better that suited my needs. An iPod will not suit everyone's needs best, but it did mine. It's a great little machine.

Yea, I'm one of those people with the Apple sticker on their car. :D

I hate it when people get so fanatical about labels that they can't appreciate anything else.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again..

Archos > iPod

I may have to obtain the AV400 soon, to replace the 320. More storage space means more movies and photos.

The DJ 20 is her second choice.

I saw this when I first started looking for one. I like this one alot, and I love that its so much cheaper than the $400 ipod. When I went to the Apple store to look at the ipods the sales guy tried to be helpful, but I knew exactly what I wanted, that I didnt want a mini, a 5000 song one wasnt going to be big enough, and that I was NOT buying one, I havent got the money. My only issue with the Dell ones is the same problem I had when I got my lap top. I have to order it online, and I cant have it in my hands too look at myself. We havent got a Dell store here.

Reminds me of the old Sony Walkman days, where everything with batteries and a cassette was called a Walkman!

Oh no! I'm STILL guilty of that.

Last chance. They are going fast.

I have two MPad's left. One has a slight tear in the packaging, but hey, what do you want for nothing. The other one is an "Overnight" MPad and may incur additional shipping and handling charges.

I have a Sony NetMD and I absolutely love it. Granted, it doesn't hold 5000 songs...but who listens to 5000 songs in one sitting?!?!??!?!

I don't think I KNOW 5,000 songs...let alone...want to listen to 5,000. I have a tough time finding 100!

As of right now I have about 210 CDs which gives me roughly over 2500 songs. :o I knew a 5000 song one wasnt the right one for me.

And that is exactly why I decided against getting an iPod. I thought about it, and even though I have enough CD's to fill one up, I don't like every song on every CD. My total collection, if cut down to the songs that I actually enjoy listening to, would probably knock about 30-40% of the songs out. I want my portable player to play only the songs that I like, not everything. That's why I am just going to get a portable CD player with MP3 playback. At least that way I don't have to scroll through 10,000 songs to find the one I want, only 50.

At least that is what I am doing until the PSP comes out. Once that thing hits, the iPod might go the way of the slap-bracelet.

better alternatives eh??

Lets see..The JetAudio player (the rumored iPod killer) is damn nice...

I love my NetMD (something about a 6 day battery life off of one single AA).

Some people would suggest an MP3/CD player..those are cool too.

Ipods have VERY short lifespans, and for what they cost, you should expect more (like...support for more formats *cough* wma)

Thanks everyone. Due to the 'flow' or should I say 'flood' of orders, I have shipped my last MPad. If this opportunity ever starts-up again, I will be sure to let everyone know.
