NO JINGLE CRUISE

It's not quite that simple anymore. If you've been to the parks much this year you would have experienced significantly longer lines for normal Haunted Mansion in the afternoon and early evening hours. It's probably due to Fastpass.

Did you really move? How did you quit the Haunted Mansion cold turkey? First you miss the eyes on the devil tail and NOW you re just cool not riding the Haunted Mansion? You had us all fooled.

I give you that because it's not a fair comparison with fastpass. Fastpass makes all standby lines longer. That would account for HM with no fast pass during the year vs HMH with fast pass the rest of the year. So if they leave FP on the HM during the regular year, we should see if the line is still significantly shorter than HMH with FP.

Fastpass has been available all year for the past two years.

Also, it's a devil tail that wags. Not a face.

Average standby time for HM with Fastpass is probably about 30 minutes on average, but average standby time for HMH with Fastpass is 60+. Exactly why there are more people lined up to ride it when it's HMH is up for debate, but there really can't be any denying there are more people looking to ride HMH than HM.

Those definitely look like eyes and a nose to me... it's pretty clever how it doubles as a devils tail and head at the same time.

Here's a thought... what if instead of turning Mickeys Toontown into Arendelle, they turn it into... Halloweentown. Of course that would mean RRCTS becomes a trackless NBC attraction.
I'd hate to see Roger go, but that would be a decent trade.

Can anyone convince Iger that Roger has a huge multi-generational fan base at this point, and that there are billions to be made if he can make nice with Spielberg and revive the franchise with a proper sequel?

I would love to see them invest in the franchise but I doubt the sequel would be anything close to the quality of the original. Would they ever take the time to do all the practical effects with the puppeteers and props when they could just cheap out with modern technology?

After seeing how lovingly and brilliantly the DuckTales reboot's been handled ( IT ROCKS!!!), I'm starting to believe anything is possible if you just let the right people take charge.

Really? I haven't seen the new Ducktales but I don't like the animation style.

Seriously, give it a shot (the pilot episode called "Woo-Hoo!" is officially free on Youtube). The animation style grew on me: It's snappy, fluid, well-drawn, and aims to capture the colors and framing of the Scrooge comic books. It's witty, it gives the characters more depth and complexity (Donald and Scrooge apparently had a major falling-out in the past--Now we've learned it probably involves the disappearance of Donald's sister), and it really, really cares about the source material. And unlike the original (which was a wonderful kids' show) this one is aimed at adults and kids equally. The season is one long story arc (just witnessed Gryro's inspiration for the yet-to-come Gizmoduck suit). So far, it really, really works. Okay, I'll stop now before before my geekometer overheats. :D

Oh, and the Beagle Boys are backwoods rednecks. :D
