Trip Report No Bug Movie...promise! *COMPLETED*

It is with great excitement I sit here in the Atlanta airport, Disney bound with my middle child. While this is my 5th WDW trip this year (I *may* have an addiction problem...) my DS (henceforth known as Drumr) has not been to the world in 3 years...before MagicBands! Don't feel too sorry for him...his first trip was at age 2 and he has been numerous times since. (Warning to parents of young kids...be careful what traditions you start!)

As I approached Stadium Hall, I could hear the sweet notes of a harmonica. There was a CM playing a song before starting his janitorial duties. Several folks had gathered around to listen. By the time I snapped his picture, he had put the harmonica in his pocket and wished everyone a magical day. Just another unexpected moment that makes Disney, Disney.

Our plan for today is to visit Epcot in the morning/afternoon and attend MNSSHP tonight. We need to take a little detour before going to Epcot, however. Drumr left his ball cap behind at the GF Cafe at dinner last night. I called the restaurant when we returned to our room. The manager said she would keep it in her office and we could pick it up at our convenience. Since it is going to be sunny and bright, Drumr needs his cap ASAP.

Confusion reigned once we reached the GF Cafe. The hostess at the stand said there was no cap and to check at the front desk. The CM at the front desk checked the safe...no cap. Fortunately another CM overheard our conversation and said she would personally check the office of the GF Cafe manager.

We then rode the monorail to the TTC and made the transfer to the Epcot line. Due to the cap search (which took much longer than we expected) we we dangerously close to the end of our Soarin' fastpass window. Drumr and I are fast power walkers (often leaving the rest of our family in the dust) and we made pretty good time to the Land pavilion when we arrived at Epcot. Still, by my phone clock we were about 12 minutes past our FP end time.

I was prepared to ask the CM for mercy, but we put our bands up to the Mickey heads without saying a word...and Mickey turned green! :D

Yesterday at the Studios, Drumr saw a 2015 drawing of Hollywood Blvd. done by artist Larry Dotson. For those of you unfamiliar with Larry, he sketches beautiful scenes of Disney parks and Disney resorts. Visit his website and you can't help but be impressed by his talent. Our family has spent enough money on his prints over the years to give him and his wife a nice vacation.

I told Drumr we should wait to purchase the print, in case Larry happens to be at one of the Art of Disney stores while we are here. Then Drumr could get a personal autograph on the print (I believe all our Dotson art is personalized.)

Upon exiting Spaceship Earth, VOILA!

Larry signs Drumr's print :).

Our server, Vincent, was "earning his ears" but you would never know it! He was delightful, efficient and kindly offered to take our picture...which I knew would not come out since we were seated at a window table. He insisted anyway. I decided not to post the picture of two dark shadows enjoying lunch. :in pain:

The homemade sorbets were melon, raspberry and coconut. I am a huge coconut fan and this sorbet was the most refreshing and delicious sorbet I have ever tasted!

And I *may* have scooped up some of the chocolate sauce from Drumr's profiteroles to go with it!

We exited the Festival Center into rain. It was a wet walk to get to Innoventions for my passport stamp. As the rain continued to fall, we decided it was time to return to All Star Sports and get a short rest in before MNSSHP.
