Trip Report No Bug Movie...promise! *COMPLETED*

It is with great excitement I sit here in the Atlanta airport, Disney bound with my middle child. While this is my 5th WDW trip this year (I *may* have an addiction problem...) my DS (henceforth known as Drumr) has not been to the world in 3 years...before MagicBands! Don't feel too sorry for him...his first trip was at age 2 and he has been numerous times since. (Warning to parents of young kids...be careful what traditions you start!)

Thus far the Studios seems very light in terms of crowds. After reading about how slammed the parks are this week, this is a pleasant surprise.

We arrived just prior to rope drop. I had to renew my AP and TiW card (yeah I know we're on dining plan, but no alcohol is included ) so I sent Drumr on ahead to RnR.

We have fastpasses for this later today, but it is a fave of ours so we'll wait.

This building housed another fave of Drumr's...Who Wants To Be a Millionaire ~ Play It! He and I would break off from the rest of the family and take in multiple shows in a day. When one show was over and we exited, we'd get right back in line.

We knew all the fastest finger tricks and yes, we both made it into the Hot Seat a few times...no trip to NYC or Disney Cruise win though :(. However we have a collection of pins, ball caps and a couple of polo shirts!

Our best family memory at WWTBAM was the day Drumr made it into the Hot Seat only to be followed by his big brother when he was out. It was on an extended family vacation so even Gramma and Poppa and an uncle got to witness the fortune of my adolescent sons. :)

I was not the rebel spy. Truthfully I would not even know if I were, since I keep my eyes closed for the duration. Stupid motion sensitivity.

Drumr found a $400 Yoda print canvas in the gift store he REALLY liked. Needless to say, it still hangs in the store ;).

View attachment 111893 The gift shop at the exit has some of the most unique merchandise found at the Studios. Drumr said his head was too large for the bellhop cap, but I made him put it on anyway. Can't you tell how thrilled he is?

Ha! I like how he "willingly" agrees to be your model ! ;) I really like the hats (actually the entire costume) that they wear in TOT. I think it looks nice on him. (Maybe since the $400 Yoda print in one of the gift shops was a little bit steep in price, you could buy him this TOT hat instead! :D (Then again . . . on second thought . . . :cautious: )
