The Cowboys?? I would love to see it, but avenging that last superbowl loss to the Bears is too good not to root for.

Hehe, that's what I'm rooting for...but I think there'll be two "upset" teams...

Pats upsetting the "Hey, we've already won the super bowl haven't we?" Chargers and Dallas upsetting Da Bears.

I can understand you not picking the Bears over the Cowboys because I know you ain't got no sense. :p But picking the Cowboys over the Saints? The Saints killed the Cowboys just a few short weeks ago. Not to mention the fact that Dallas has lost their last three out of four. :hammer: :)

Brother, ain't that the truth.

Probably the most interesting game will be the AFC Championship game. Unless the Bears of September return in time for the playoffs. Then we should have a good Super Bowl matchup.

The one thing I hold onto is the hope that the Bears were just in a little hibernation period these past few games. Remember how awful they looked in the preseason? Then they came out and killed... until the Arizona game. Since then, they've slowly regressed to preseason form. It's time to Bear Down!
those are my thoughts as well.......this has been a more intensed rollercoaster then RnR :lookaroun

It's all about the ladies!!! Romo was in the Jessica Simpson rumor...lost. Then came the Carrie Underwood "newness" and lost...a few weeks have past now...he'll be back in form and T.O. will turn it up for the playoffs.

Cowboys and Pats in the SuperBowl...with a return appearance of Bledsoe...and the master vs. the apprentice will go down :lookaroun (kidding about this last part!!!)

(Wouldn't be a bad thing afterall! )

Unrealistic?

Think back to 2001. Nothing is unrealistic.

At 1-3 and a quarterback out with a serious injury...wasn't it unrealistic to say that they'd win the Super Bowl?

Do the Bear's odds depend on if Grossman is distracted and unable to fully prepare for the game??:brick:

My thought on it is, you're being paid millions to do a job, you should do your best no matter what...especially when you aren't that great to begin with.

Drew Brees played for one drive and a snap and played to perfection...that's the mark of a excellent player and not a mediocre one like Rexy.

 I hate to think that Grossman spent less time preparing for the Packers game than I did choosing which snacks I was going to eat during the game.

I agree. Even if you're not being paid millions. Do the job you're paid to do. If it's making minimum wage at some fast-food joint, do your job to the best of your abilities.

I suppose the good thing is that Grossman is still learning and willing to own up to his mistakes. Then again, one of the local sports columnists wrote today that the only good excuse Grossman could come up with was that he was distracted. Better than saying, "Hey, let's face it, folks, I stink."

Still, I'm confident that Grossman will bounce back. He almost always does after a bad game. So, I think he'll be ready for the Seahawks, Eagles and Ravens. :)
