Woody's dream stays alive . . . for now! Haunted Pirate also picks up a point, but nobody else had the skins. Right?

Yeah, HP was the only person to pick up 2 points yesterday.

I'm on the Potomac River Drainage Basin Indigenous Persons bandwagon now. Go Persons!!!

It was a rough weekend for home teams, and for many of us in the contest. Home losses by the Bucs, Giants and Bengals had an effect on everybody here, since all 3 of those teams were majority picks. The good news is that with the 4 idle teams still waiting, a lot of people's Super Bowl picks haven't even played yet, so there's still a lot of points to be had in the next 3 rounds.

The Carson Palmer injury had a HUGE effect on a few entries, mine included. I think it would have been a different game if he had been in there, possibly the same outcome, but a different game nonetheless.

I agree. Cincy's offense just wasn't the same. Kitna put up respectable first half numbers, but couldn't maintain it in the second half.

The thing that drives me nuts is that 6 is my lucky number. If I had just stuck with the #6 seeds, I would have been in a much better position right now. :p

The thing that drives me nuts is that both of your second-round AFC winners are playing each other next weekend, leaving me puzzling over how to interpret my own rules!

I guess the fairest thing to do is just go ahead and give you 1.5 points for the Den-NE game either way, since the rules say you get credit for picking winners.

Can we edit our second round picks, after the outcome of the first round? I mean, if Indy should lose, most people's picks are out the window. ;)

I'll be pretty happy when the Pats win and Indy loses.
I'll be watching the Pats at AKL concierge Saturday night!

I hope AKL Concierge was better than the Patriots were last nite! I personally got some enjoyment out of the look on Tom Brady's face at the end of the game. :p

But he still has three Super Bowls in his first five years as a starter... how many is it that Peyton Manning has again? Oh, and what's that score at halftime for the Colts right now? 14-3.... Pittsburgh? :p
