So, even though my predictions suck, and my career as a sports analyst would be short lived, here's to hoping: Seahawks vs. Steelers in the Super Bowl. Steelers take all. :lol:

Any Steelers fans want to pay me to pick the Seahawks? Almost every team I have pulled for in the playoffs has tanked. Pulled for Carolina and Denver yesterday.

The guys I was watching the game with talked during the whole 4th quarter, but...as I said a few weeks ago, it was nice to see Bettis and Cowher...two of the NFL's graybeards, at least by pro football standards..finally cash in their chips.

BTW, I think I've officially passed one of those infamous life milestones by being older than the Super Bowl winning QB (even if he is the youngest winner in history).

As it turns out, my pick was actually the closest to the final score, even though I was still off by 10 points. Pretty low-scoring game. Here's the top 3...

I just remembered that my original rule was 'closest to total score WITHOUT going over'.

My intent in saying that was to have a way to easily settle a tie if two entries were equally off the mark in different directions, but in this case, it means....nobody wins. :lol:

So I'm the closest non-winner in this case. Definitely need to re-think the rules for this one if we decide to play it again. :lol:
