Living in NY, having the watch the Jets is a joke. Geno looks just as bad as Sanchez, if not worse, so far.
Thank god for the NFL redzone channel!
Giants game in T-minus 6 hours

Chiefs slaughtered the Jags, Jets hit a game winning field goal, and Raiders play great against the Colts. 3 of the worst teams from last year surprising everybody.

I can't believe the horsecollar on Ryan on the final play of the game didn't get more attention...

And the blown call by the Refs on the offsetting penalties on GreenBay/49ers is a problem of their own creation. I can't believe GreenBay took the penalty and allowed the 49ers another chance at the 3rd down conversion. That was a bonehead choice.

Steelers lost, Bengals lost, Browns lost.

AFC North teams are just doing wonderfully this week. But it does give the Ravens a chance to at least tie for first next week. Feeling pretty confident about next week's game since we're playing the Browns at home.

Also, what is with all the safeties in the first quarter in these games? I count three games that involved safeties so far. In fact, the Jaguar's only scored two points today (better than a shutout I guess).

Anyway, enough talk. Study time

Titans over Steelers. Period.
YEA!!!! Glad your prediction was right.;) It's kind of a Baltimore thing, if we lose, we at least want the Steelers to lose too. And if we win, we still want the Steelers to lose unless it somehow helps us if they win.

Disappointed by the loss, but impressed with out overall play. That's a very tough game, and we hung in there until the very end.

And ultimately that one blown penalty doesn't matter, but still shouldn't have happened. Refs should know the rules. And McCarthy's idea behind taking the penalty was that Harbaugh was going to go for it on 4th & 2 (which is very much in his nature). The only reason people criticize calls like that is when they don't work, but when they do work, it's brilliant. The same thought process is behind all of those types of decision, but it's 50/50 on whether it will work or not.

Very good game, though!

Here's why I think it was a bad call. It's early in the game.. less pressure on Harbaugh to push for the 7 instead of taking the 3. Plus, no matter how you cut it, taking the penalty gives the 49s an additional chance.

Roger's accuracy was poor in the 1st half, but he cleaned it up in the 2nd. The packer's defense definitely upp'd their game compared to last season. They made some good tackles at times.. but the # of options Kap had they couldn't cover them all. I think they played a bit safe with the safeties.

Boldin had a lot to prove and he certainly made his point :(
