Our defense is better than our offence.

So what else is new?

Leave the cliques at home... Broncos put up nearly 50... there is no 'good defense' tonight. Our safeties are a complete disaster... our LBs can't cover the TEs... Suggs is over persuing everything. We've had two idiotic penalties.

The only thing worse then the defense right now is Dallas Clark.

The Ravens were just embarrassing. Once their punt got blocked and Welker scored that TD, I had a feeling it was just getting worse from there, but I didn't think it would be that bad.

People are already saying Peyton is on track to throw 112 TDs this season. I highly doubt he'll get that many. It would more than double Tom Brady's NFL record of 50. The question is are the Broncos for real? Manning threw 7 TDs against a defense that performed awfully. Plus, their offense has resembled the Packers' over the past couple years: great passing game, but average-at-best running game. And we all know how the Packers have done in the past two post seasons.

First game of the season... the 112 comments are in jest (at least on NFL network)

The ravens defense had nothing working for them except the down linemen and the Broncos still couldn't run the ball. One dimensional will win alot of games, but it exposes you to lose a lot too when you can't put the game away. They couldn't burn clock. If that was another high powered WR set facing them, the Broncos might have needed 60.

The holes in the raven's lineup were just so glaring. Add into that some poor throws by Flacco and it was a disaster. Almost as bad as the monday night jacksonville game in '11.

Dallas Clark was just aweful... Dickson was his inconsistent self. Our safeties were outmatched, and we lined up Rice as a receiver more than a running back. That's a disaster cookin...

Brown will be ok as the #2 WR... but we need the TEs to make the formula work. And we don't have them.

I'm almost sorry I didn't watch the game - would have loved to see the Ravens get their just reward. But the RedSox game was a real thriller...
Nah, just reward was when the Ravens whipped up on the Patriots in the playoffs last season and Tom Brady was crying on the field

I got bored.

You're talking to someone who skipped the SuperBowl. Also, Oher and Jones were out by then were out and the Broncos were looking better than us, so I said "screw it".

I didn't watch the SuperBowl because I was at WDW (and thought they were going to lose. I'm...negative when it comes to football).

I'm more of the casual fan who would rather occasionally check to see what's going on than sit through an entire game on TV. If I'm there (I've gone a few times) I tend to be more interested.

It's bad, but not as bad as the Butt Fumble. Speaking of which, ESPN finally decided to retire the Butt Fumble from their not top plays!

It was a rookie move that should never have been made. I understand that they lack experience, but Joe Flacco was a rookie and in the playoffs. If they are going to be in the NFL, they need to have the intelligence not to do something boneheaded like that

Better to learn that mistake now as opposed to later down the road when everyone's fighting for the playoffs.
