Speaking of the Packers, CB Casey Hayward will be out at least a month with a hamstring injury he aggravated in week 3 of the preseason. Hayward led the rookies in INTs last season and was in the running for Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Jacoby Jones sprained his MCL in Thursday's season opener. He could be out until Halloween.

Bruno Mars was named the halftime performer for the Super Bowl. Really? I know there were possibly worse choices but Mars?

Got to be better than some of the other sell-out stars...You can't please everybody, but the whole game is about the almighty dollar.

The last halftime show that impressed me was Kid Rock.

BTW..I still have the wardrobe malfunction on VHS tape in case anyone wants to buy it on eBay! It was recorded at SP (slow mo version)

The Lions first drive:

- Get ball at the 20
- March down the field
- Get 2nd and a foot
- Can't run the ball for a first down
- Reggie Bush drops a pass on third down
- Attempt a field goal, and the holder drops the ball
- Lions don't score, Vikings take over

Same old Lions!
