Mapping every injury this season. Way too many knee injuries, but it looks like the head injuries are going down which is obviously good.

The knee injuries are a problem this year, and it's because of the movement to end head injuries. It's kind of "pick your poison".

Rod Marinelli will take over as Cowboys DC, but Monte Kiffin will remain on the Cowboys' staff as an assistant coach. The Cowboys also announced that Scott Linehan will be the play-caller and "passing-game coordinator" next season.

In other "news", Tim Tebow will host Good Morning America this week.

That should be a snoozefest. I never hated or loved him during his time in Denver (he provoked a lot of extreme reactions with a lot of people). He seems like a very nice and good person, but he is stiff as a board.

Favorable weather now for East Rutherford. As of now, Sunday's forecast is cold but projected highs of 48 degrees, lows of 30 and no snow. Then again, with the weather these days, it's a toss-up so nothing's guaranteed.

The NFL has said that concussions are 13% down from last year. And surprisingly, they said knee injuries stayed the same, and didn't rise like it seemed like they did.

NFL Honors are tomorrow night. This year they are revealing the Hall of Fame Inductees for 2014 on the show, along with all of the normal awards. I loved last year's show when Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre shared the stage together. As a Packers fan, and a Rodgers and Favre fan, priceless!!

Interesting news. The Ram's owner purchased 60 acres of land in the Los Angeles area within the past month. When asked about his, Roger Goodell said there are no plans, to his knowledge, of stadium development in LA. This could just be a scheme to get the city of St Louis to give the Rams what they want, as they have turned down proposals recently. The Rams' contract with the Edward Jones Dome expires after 2014.

Unfortunately, this type of extortion is the way of the world in the NFL (or pretty much any pro sports franchise) these days. You have to live with a background fear that at any time, your favorite team will up and leave. Maybe even in the middle of the night...
