Uh-oh. The Bills are coming my friends. The Bills are coming. 8-6

:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

We've got the 49ers next week, so there's nothing to worry about there, but then there's the Steelers after that....

Well as bad as I wanted the Pack to beat the Jags today, we REALLY need the Ravens to lose tonight to my main man Peyton Manning.

Willis needs to get healthy and we basically have to win out and hope that Denver gets beat one more time and we need the Ravens to lose twice......and we need the Jags to lose once

But I guess it is possible.

OMG!!! That is all that matters. I saw TO down clutching his leg and it was like "No!!! Get up! TO get up!" Then he was carried into the tunnel. Oh no... torn ACL? Broken leg? No! No! NOOOOOOOOO!!! This is the absolute worst thing that could ever happen! The Superbowl is gone! Then they announced the x-rays were negative and he only had a sprained ankle. Oh Thank you! Thank you! Whew! Close one! :lookaroun

AGREED!!!!!!!!!! I was so worried............now I feel better.
Did you or anyone else see T.O. on The Late Show with David Letterman on Friday? I taped it. :)

Well, Now the Bengals have an uphill struggle to match last years record. They can't be giving away games like this and expect to make the play-offs. Theu gave the Patriots 14 points and did the same for the Bills. Not to say they would not have lost the game anyway, but mistakes like that are not made by winning teams. If the Bengals could pick up a stud defensive lineman or two, they will be tough to beat.

Oh well. Time to root for the Vikings :sohappy:

how's this for crazy.

Panther's lose to Atlanta (or Michael Vick, as everyone else int he sports industry says...*rolls eyes*) and become 6-8. no more playoffs. Then St. Louis loses to Arizona, New Orleans beats Tampa, Dallas loses...everyone they needed to lose to stay in the playoff picture does and they're back in!

THANK YOU MIAMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright now this week is over and the only thing that kept it from being perfect for us was a Jacksonville win at Green Bay.

This Miami win was HUGE for us for a couple of reasons:

1. Now if Pittsburgh can beat Baltimore, then the last game against the Steelers shouldn't involve their first team.

2. Now I can safely pull for the Patriots against the Jets, because if the Jets lose to NE and St. Louis, we might be able to steal their playoff spot.

Hopefully we can take care of business against the 49ers first and foremost but NemoRocks, we could be very happy this time next week.

Argh...what a nightmare.

The Pats beat themselves...you can't expect to win a game by playing like that...where was Brady's head?

I don't believe I'd worry TOO much about this one if I was a Pats fan. They don't need home field to win.

:lookaroun Kinda like the Bengals last week and even against the Bills. The stat sheets for those two games are amazing. Statistically they dominated the World Champs and had a healthy edge on the Bills, but turnovers and mistakes can't be made against good teams if you expect to win. Oh well. May be time to start the College Basketball 2004/2005 thread. . . :hammer:

Actually, I look at this as a good thing.

Do I have to let Brady have one bad game? Yes...he deserves that for the greatness he has displayed over the past 26 games.

Now...in a way, I'm glad they lost to the Dolphins. It was very humbling and I think it's just the thing they need to re-ignite that fire that was inside of them at one time.

. . . and after a lengthy silence on the issue, the Jaguars have scratched their way into playoff contention with a big win in the cold weather over the Green Bay Favrers! Controlling their own destiny, if they win at home against Houston and on the road at Oakland, they will get a re-match at San Diego.

Go Jaguars! Keep Buffalo, Denver and Baltimore out of the playoffs! :goodnevil hee hee (We're number six! We're number six!)

(I could be wrong about Denver though)

NEVER!!!!!

Sorry, I just had to attempt to defend my team, even though I feel pain when I look at their record. What Happened!!! Oh well, this Broncos Fan just has to hope for a winning streak.

GO BRONCOS!!!

I could use some backup here!

No what I was saying there is that I didn't know if we had the tiebreaker over Denver or not. I know we don't have it over Baltimore because they beat us head to head. But what I said was if it came down to a tie, I don't know who would win the tiebreaker. I think Denver would have it over us, but I don't know for sure.

Oh my goodness. What a day. Tough losses for the Jags and Ravens fans, but we sure needed them. Now we have to have some more help. The Broncos and/or the Jets have to lose for us to have a chance. Of course we have to take care of business against the Steelers, but they will not be a full strength. That game is not a given by any stretch, but you sort of have to focus on the other teams right now because if you don't get the help, it doesn't matter if we win or not.

Go Bills! Go Rams! Go Colts!

NemoRocks, it's going to be a wild ride.

I'm not sure how, but based on everything I've heard, Denver has the head-to-head over Buffalo. I couldn't get anything from looking at the first 3 tiebreakers, so it must be strength of victory or strength of schedule.

Yeah from the Bills message boards I've been reading, Denver does have the tiebreaker over us. It's too much for me to understand how it goes, but it looks like we are going to have to have a big upset to get in the playoffs.

And it all starts tomorrow night. We HAVE to have the Rams beat the Eagles tomorrow, so they will have something to play for against the Jets. If the Eagles win tomorrow, our only hope is that Jim Sorgi can lead the Colts to victory
