I think he’s talking about New Orleans square
I’m pretty sure they changed it all of them but I’m 100% sure they changed the Main Street station spiel.

Gotcha…. I had to look it up and yes it did change. When the railroad opened it was called Frontierland station - so it may have been a historic nod? Idk.
Maybe this DLRR Spiel Change discussion can go back into the thread that @mickEblu originally created for it -
The Disneyland Train Station Announcement has been my favorite sound at Disneyland since I was a child. Its always had an ethereal quality to it. Part of that I think is because the version I grew up with is mixed with some heavy reverb which would make it sound like you were in some grand train station with an echo. The other part is just how transportive hearing that spiel while walking under the train tracks is.
As soon as the vlogging outside the gates started being posted in mid April that the Train was circling around Disneyland again I immediately heard something was off. It...

Yes, but unless the new verse played in IASW are now also part of the changed DLRR spiel that you're talking about I think its beyond the topic at hand. The train passes through IASW. It’s relevant. It’s staying right here.
At Disneyland - the Main Street station announces the stops the train will be making. In recordings online from 10 years ago, they call for “New Orleans Square” and now they call for “Frontierland”I think I’m going insane from this I have no idea what anyone’s talking about anymore
Okay I’ve calmed down now it felt like people just started talking about random things at random points for a bit thereAt Disneyland - the Main Street station announces the stops the train will be making. It is an odd change.

At the Magic Kingdom, they still have not restored the spiel at Main Street Station. Very sadRight I understand that all the vocals and instruments are on different tracks. I spent a lot of my 20s in studios recording and have some experience being in the studios and providing feedback when the engineers were mixing or mastering. With that said sounds like you re a bit more knowledgeable in this area and how it applies to the attraction. I was only speaking to the quality of the vocal tracks and if they could match the sound. I agree that you don’t have to lose any of the original recordings but Disney seems to do a lot of unnecessary things these days. One that will always bug me is when they reopened after the pandemic they changed all the train station spiels. Not only did the replace “NOS” with “Frontierland” but it lost all of that beautiful reverb that gave it an almost ethereal quality. Nobody ever talks about it. I mean NOBODY. And every time I bring it up it’s crickets. How did the entire Disneyland fandom not notice this change? I even brought it up to the train station CMs and they looked at me like I was crazy.
I also lament losing the old Yetis howl. They mixed it into his new audio but you can barely hear it.
Holiday has a completely different soundtrack/recording. An inferior one to the original Hammack score I might add, but it has its own merit and is only around for a few months. The Holiday overlay started in 1997 and I assume they recorded the Christmas additions to the song at that time and it all sounds pretty seamless.
I'm not worried that adding in a new verse will sound bad.
For what its worth, I was told the change was made because NOS is considered internally to be a sub-land to Frontierland, so it was thought that it would be better to refer to the main land. I agree that it's a very odd decision, especially with two of Disneyland's headliners being in NOS, but it was very much intentional.
It's my understanding that it's a new recording, as Toontown didn't exist the last time the loop referred to a "Frontierland Station," and both lands are referenced now.
That's not how things work around here (or any Disney fan forum for that matter). Why not actually listen to the song when it's done to cast judgment?
