I did get an email confirmation. It is titled "Annual Passholder Event Registration Confirmation". Check your spam folder and do a search in your trash folder just in case you accidentally deleted it. I don't think we'll need it but it does give personal satisfaction that the transaction went through.
I received one as well. Also wanted to share this from the email:
  • Passholders with confirmed reservations will receive an additional email with details on how to check in for this experience 3 to 5 business days in advance of event date selected.

Looks like just the characters that are "attractions". This isnt the same as moonlight magic
I wouldn't have assumed it would be, but this is the first type of event for PH in awhile that is not a preview or paid event, so I'm still hoping for some extra magic :)

If I had to guess, I’d think that characters or complimentary snacks are possible, but unlikely.

I think the biggest possibility of something unique happening would actually be a special fireworks display a la DVC Moonlight Magic.

I’m expecting nothing, but if I had to wager, I’d wager on fireworks.
Or a new Paint the Night? Spectromagic? Woah, getting a little ahead of myself :)

Looks like a couple attractions might be missing from the above list compared to today’s release, notably Buzz and CBJ.

I really wonder where they capped the number of participants. Do we expect this to be more like EMH or Moonlight Magic?

Yeah there are at east two different lists floating around internally. Lineup still seems fluid

One day a month????? :banghead:

This is helpful for those who are close by and can take ad-hoc evening trips, but its a little bit harder for those of us that are 900+ miles away that would either have to reschedule a trip or pick a week that is less desirable with personal schedules.

i would argue the frequency is oriented to accommodate everyone. if it was every week it would be extremely advantageous to locals.

What exactly is there to do at epcot?

I'd Rather 2 hours at magic Kingdom for all.

drink....p
in Cali, amusement park tickets are excluded from tax (another area DL has been lobbying and negotiating with gov over).

have to pay for socialisim some how!!! seriously though its funny how quick goverments forget how beneficial companys have been once the time has come and gone.

I'm surprised to not see the PeopleMover on the list. That seems like a no brainer and one of the most fun things to ride when the park is emptier. The list is impressive overall, though. I'd also love to see Carousel of Progress in there too so I could ride it basically empty (even more than usual!). That one is a lot more understandable, though.

I'm behind in this thread. I apologize if what I even talk about is old news but I've been sick for about two weeks with a sinus infection that just won't quit. Anyway, I think this is great, personally, that they're FINALLY doing *something*. It's really just extra magic hours for Passholders, something that they should have always been doing. But I'm glad they're doing it now. The problem is they keep saying if you have a lower tier annual pass you aren't good enough for us. Frankly, that's a bit insulting. But, personally, I don't expect to be included in everything as a nobody weekday passholder. I really don't. But I think something like this they should have opened to everyone, and they really could have done the same for Toy Story Land previews (though I really lost no sleep over not getting a preview of that, as much of a diss as I felt it was not including everyone, I "understood".)

So I did what I rarely ever do and fired off an e-mail to someone at the company, or resort, it was a blur because I was sick. I was nice in the e-mail and just stated the frustration. I expected nothing, just, being in a bad mood from being sick it rubbed me the wrong way to be dis-included, so anyway, I get a canned response back, of course. I reply again a bit more sarcastically (especially over being told to "Have a Magical Day!"). I really don't think much of it but I saw I had a missed call from Lake Buena Vista yesterday (could have actually been the day before; again, the last few days are a total blur). I still need to get in contact with the woman who phoned. Again, not asking for anything at all just a heads up to everyone that they do actually listen. You just have to be nice yet a bit pushy. Don't take a canned response from them.

So I'll see what she says and post back. I think they need to know that this isn't always OK to not include everyone. I get it, "restrictions apply" and, again, as a lower passholder, I expect nothing and am happy with having parking included, so I'm not a whiner in these situations but this one just kind of irritated me.

Again, sorry for maybe veering this off-topic but I thought it could be interesting to some. Most won't care and that's OK ;)

To their credit, they actually do listen. A few years ago we voiced our concerns about My Magic + (both all the technical snafus that were occurring at that time as well as how FP+ advanced planning had taken spontaneity out of the parks). They listened to us for about 45 minutes and tried to make things right by us...
