I agree it looks much better! At night they remind me of the planet LV-426 from Aliens.
I like it a lot.

I know right. It needs it more than any other land in the history of Disney castle parks.I just showed DH the photos and his response was, "why don't they fix what's INSIDE of Tomorrowland??"
They have been doing updates (by paint) to exteriors already, so it probably isn't happening soon. Though sometime in the 2020's I think would make a ton of sense.it actually looks so much better than the plain "earth rock" look~
could this could be the beginning of something more for tomorrowland?
As long as they don't change the background music, I'm good.
love that idea! then they could have waterfall "awakenings" and put all that semi scifi stuff in a montage on the falls every 15 minutes instead of giving them actual Tomorrowland spots. I'm lookin at you stitch, buzz and laugh floor...Waterfall projections....hmmmmm
The two Tomorrowland's are equally problematic in opposite ways. Even though neither is perfect in either category, DL has more problems aesthetically while MK has more problems attraction wise.Agree, I would be distraught if that happened It's one of my favorite loops ever. I'm worried they'll change the EPCOT Innoventions loop as well, which I also love.
The rocks look good in my opinion. As a DLR regular I'm already so jealous of MK Tomorrowland from a visual standpoint... attraction content wise, not so much.
I think you meant aesthetically. The two Tomorrowland's are equally problematic in opposite ways. Even though neither is perfect in either category, DL has more problems atheistically while MK has more problems attraction wise.
lol, gotta fix that. I always get that wrong when I'm typing fast.I think you meant aesthetically.
Not gonna lie, I found that typo hilarious.
They've been doing the land in phases, so I would assume if Disney is not cheap they will. They really should get rid of that purple paint on the building on the right now. Use a color that goes with the new rocks better.
At least Tokyo still has this.
Here's what Tommorowland look at dawn at Tokyo Disneyland.I understand why they went with the rocks, but I miss the waterfalls. The rocks wouldn't look so bad if they used this theme throughout Tomorrowland. Rocks here and there and make it appear like the land was actually a "base on some far off moon or world". Instead, you have clean, nice and smooth Mainstreet and a newly redesigned hub, and ..... BAM! Space rocks. Then, once past the space rocks, it is clean, nice and smooth "future world".
