New Tomorrowland Rock Paint Job

it actually looks so much better than the plain "earth rock" look~
could this could be the beginning of something more for tomorrowland?
They have been doing updates (by paint) to exteriors already, so it probably isn't happening soon. Though sometime in the 2020's I think would make a ton of sense.

As long as they don't change the background music, I'm good.

Agree, I would be distraught if that happened :( It's one of my favorite loops ever. I'm worried they'll change the EPCOT Innoventions loop as well, which I also love.

The rocks look good in my opinion. As a DLR regular I'm already so jealous of MK Tomorrowland from a visual standpoint... attraction content wise, not so much.

Waterfall projections....hmmmmm
love that idea! then they could have waterfall "awakenings" and put all that semi scifi stuff in a montage on the falls every 15 minutes instead of giving them actual Tomorrowland spots. I'm lookin at you stitch, buzz and laugh floor...
(edit) to be fair though, I've always cared more about these three atrocities being removed from tomorrowland more than mulan or ratatouille invading epcot... (but never frozen lol)

The two Tomorrowland's are equally problematic in opposite ways. Even though neither is perfect in either category, DL has more problems aesthetically while MK has more problems attraction wise.

Did this some time ago for a friend. Always loved the towers. They don't need the side falls (they leaked).

The towers and Gull-Wing falls were so epic...talk about placemamking. they just needed better technology to manage the waterfalls....which now of course is easier to do than in 1971... It was awe inspiring then, and I imagine would be again if they rebuilt them, though I feel like that idea would never come to pass...

I understand why they went with the rocks, but I miss the waterfalls. The rocks wouldn't look so bad if they used this theme throughout Tomorrowland. Rocks here and there and make it appear like the land was actually a "base on some far off moon or world". Instead, you have clean, nice and smooth Mainstreet and a newly redesigned hub, and ..... BAM! Space rocks. Then, once past the space rocks, it is clean, nice and smooth "future world".
Here's what Tommorowland look at dawn at Tokyo Disneyland.
