New Tomorrowland Rock Paint Job

Do you think they'll continue the new color scheme with new nighttime lighting for Space Mountain? We were watching the Dreamlights parade at Tokyo Disneyland and saw their Space Mountain continually change color from blue to purple. Everything else in Tomorrowland seems to be getting a new paint job. Just wondering.

I have no idea honestly but I like that look with the Lighting.

I hope they are installing lights inside the rocks so that they will emit a glow at night.

hard to make concrete glow.... unless they paved the surfaces with fiberoptics...but that is unreasonable to expect... Still the metallic colors are bright and fresh and will look great

I think it looks better than the current paint job. Reminds me of an alien planet, I guess. Not really sure why there are rocks in the first place, though.

I like it better than the old (horribly faded) natural look. And I bet it's snazzy looking at night. So it's an improvement in my book.

Definitely has more of a sci-fi look to it, if you ask me. Nice little touch.

It's cool...gives Tomorrowland a bit more definition that you're going from one place to another...not as much as the towers did though...

I think it's pretty. I prefer the Sci-Fi vibe of the metallic paint to the thematically dissonant "Wile E. Coyote desert landscape" look that the rockwork previously evoked for me.

The metallic paint will look great during the daytime. Some projection mapping onto the rocks at night would be a huge plus for that area. Are you listening Imagineering?

Saw this image on Facebook today. It looks like the transformation is coming along. Jury is still out for me.

Kinda reminds me of Frozen... so any way how's Comic Ray's looking these days? with it's hexagonal, ice palace shaped rooms, facing Fantsayland... hmmmm?

Agree. The purple on the MILF building is particularly unpleasant.
