New Tomorrowland @ Disneyland? Is this the year it finally gets announced? No, and that’s OK

Does this mean this version of the plan is scrapped? Or is an announcement for it purely just delayed.
It means the poster is just making stuff up.

"Oh we dodged a bullet."
"What bullet did we dodge?"
"I can't tell you but it was bad."

I've said what I can say so here's where I'll leave it - were you a fan of what they did with the Toontown revamp? Would you consider that a success? (NOT counting Runaway Railway, just the land refresh).

If your answer is no, then this is good news.

I think that the Toontown revamp was fine… for Toontown. I wouldn’t want to see that approach for Tomorrowland though. Yikes.

Is it that unbelievable that the company who wanted to retheme Space Mountain to Lightyear Mountain would devise another plan that would tarnish Tomorrowland?

I'd rather see Tomorrowland continue in its decay than let the current crop of Imagineers touch it.

So astroturf, a tree, and a splash pad that opens a year after everything else.

I'm surprised that the mishandling of Toontown has mostly been glossed over here. They reopened it unfinished, there were tons of issues with what they did open, and they promptly had to reclose everything in phases to fix their stuff.

What a joke!

At least it was Toontown. I'm worried about Magnolia park and they definitely should NOT touch Tomorrowland.

This actually kinda tracks with the pre-D23 rumors that a “fresh coat of paint / tear out the broken things but don’t replace them with anything” Tomorrowland plan was in place.

This doesn’t sound “bad” to me, just disappointing compared to what could be.

For the love of God, no more astroturf! Please WDI, if Disney doesn't want real grass design something that doesn't require astroturf and use native plants that don't require a lot of water.

I'm not going to speculate whether the information is accurate or not, but what I'm tired of seeing lately here are the Cindy Bradys jumping in with "I've got a secret but I can't tell you....na na na na na!"

Like if you have inside information, but aren't able to share it, then all you're doing by announcing it is bragging for clout.

Actually, for the most part, yeah. The only bad thing for me is the lame dreaming tree. I like the larger refreshed play area. I like the updated Goofy's House and the kinetic energy in it. I can go either way with Donald's splash pad, but I've seen kids really enjoying it. The trolly tracks needed to go and I like the better looking road/sidewalks....makes it look more like a lived-in town. But I do wish all of the grass was real.

The rollout and execution was abysmal, but I personally enjoy the final product once that all got squared away. I go into toontown a lot more than I used to.

Yeah Rollout was terrible but Toontown 2.0 is a success. Yes the dreaming tree and splash pad are a joke but I think they're packing in at least twice the amount of people in there that they used to on a consistent basis. Although I don't care for the artificial grass it doesn't bother me in Toontown due to the theme and more plasticky nature of the land.
