Can you explain' please? Rasulo and most of the bad things that have happened over the past few years are leftovers from Eisner era ideas.

You simply don't read my posts... (read all of them)

I was not talking about Rasulo... I was talking about the illusive trio...
so leave Eisner out of this...

You're still talking about what someone has done or does for Walt Disny World
What did Eisner for Walt Disney World...
Everything...
What have the illusive trio done???
Tell me... I'm not seeing progression... except pulling down Disney attractions and replacing them with Pixar attractions...

However he did nothing for Disneyland and that park suffered. The progression is going on over there. As for your other point I am kinda torn. There are some things I think are going well at Disney than at the same time I am worried about other things. Disney is kind of going bi-polar.

Personally, I wanted this:
ouimet.jpg

Anybody know the number for Starwood?

Matt Ouimet left Starwood in '08. I don't believe he has another job yet, he seems to just be lying low.

Ouimet had moved from Southern California out to new White Plains, New York for the Starwood gig. It had been reported that his wife and family never clicked with the Orange County, California lifestyle and missed central Florida a lot. It's unclear where he and his family is living now, since a new job has not yet begun for him.

you're missing a LeeCar...

And you think they'll still talk to me???
Even though I'm still available for them in consulting (still 5 years to go)...

Lasseter won't talk to me... he'll lose any debate with me...
the guy can't think for himself... he needs the right buttons to be pushed by the puppet master...

Even if he could dream it, I already made it... :D

The only one who sometimes has "clear" moments (when Jobs is not looking) is Robert Iger... His intentions are good, but he really doesn't know what he's talking about... he's only the named CEO...
A nice and friendly guy... But that's it... :D

Eisner did nothing for Disneyland? Huh?

One of the first photographs of Eisner publicly released to the media after he took over was of him being toured through a closed Disneyland by Richard Nunis.

Within a year of Eisner's arrival, he stopped Disneyland from being closed on Mondays/Tuesdays for eight months out of the year and went to the seven day a week operation for the park. Then a fast lineup of minor and major attractions was greenlit for Disneyland, using Eisner's connections with the hip Hollywood crowd of the 80's.

Videopolis - 1985
Captain EO - 1986
Star Tours - 1987

While Tony Baxter got the greenlight for his big budget flume attraction, with Splash Mountain opening in 1989.

The mid and late 80's were a fast paced, exciting time at Disneyland with a dozen different big budget promotions and huge capital investment in new E Ticket attractions. I'm no fan of the man once things changed with him in the mid 1990's, but Eisner did a lot for Disneyland in his first 10 years in office.

Most of the stuff that was added to Disneyland was also added to Walt Disney World within a few years. And Eisner greenlit MGM Studios and fast tracked it to beat Universal.

Oooohhhh...let's flash the Ouimet Signal on the clouds!
Sadly, he's probably like Rorscach...We'll cry "Help us!" and he'll whisper "No."

Welcome to the world of corporate business :D
at the same time I am worried about other things. Disney is kind of going bi-polar.
NOW you're finally talking sense... Disney is not going Bi-Polar... The puppet master already made Disney Bi-Polar... that's a fact...

So now what...
Are we letting this go on and on???

Think not...
I'd better try to have a chat with Gramps... He's a genius in ousting people... :D

Or else the Company will fall apart within the next 10 years and becomes prey for corporate raiders...

A 1.2 Billion dollar refurb for the disastorus Disney's California Adventure. If it's Pixar and it's good. (Toy Story Midway Mania. Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage) I am all for it. If it is Pixar and its bad (Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor The Seas with Nemo & Friends) I am against it.

Yep, I'm ignorant. And slow. (unkadug beat me by only 3 posts.)

So Roy has the ability to oust Jobs, Iger and Lasseter, huh?

you really feel Finding Nemo version of the submarine voyage is good?

Mania is an ok c-ticket its better than a burrito stand (DCA) or who wants to be a millionare (DHS) but really nothing special that wouldnt get repetive and old quick

IMO, the first actually good Pixar attraction to open will be Radiator Springs Racers along with Cars land. Every single pixar attraction prior has been terrible.

I do think Finding Nemo Subs is good. Sure do.
And I also think Mania is a solid D-ticket.

Buzz Light is pretty good, lost some zest when Mani came out...

What about Tough to Be a Bug and Finding Nemo the Musicial. I know TTBAB is getting old for those of us who are repeat visitors.

He is the third largest shareholder behind Jobs and Eisner. I wish he was the only owner and CEO.
