New Star Wars live stage show coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios this Spring

Okay, I was keeping my mind open for this, hoping to see something like we'd see during the SWW as we had never been... but... oh, Disney. :( For the same amount of effort, You could have come up with something so much better. This feels like a meet and greet without the one on one photo. Quite honestly, the most impressive part of it was the red smoke/uplighting effect.

I see nothing here to make people cheer for the good guys, get chills when the bad guys come out, or any plot whatsoever that would make us hold our breaths for even a fraction of a second.

Training Academy blows this show away.

Please tell me the fireworks show will not disappoint like this stage show.
Doesn't look like it from the Concept art! I do hope they keep the low pyro though, Symphony uses it so much! Speaking of Art, we didn't really get any art from this show so we really didn't know what we were getting. I was pleased to see that C3PO and maybe R2D2? are in the show since I did not see that coming

Martin, who did Symphony and Frozen's Fireworks? And are the same team working on SW: AGS? I wasn't worried but now......

It's NOT an excuse but i'd rather have this Stage Show be on the low side than Friendship Farie and the new DHS Pyro show! ROL should be top quality for AK!

Umm something shouldn't have to be lower quality in order for other things to be higher quality. They all should be high quality. I'm just disappointed to how little there is to this show. Super small cast, and barely anything happens.

...wow... that was just painful... I don't understand how they thought that was ready for show... I kept waiting for a bigger payoff and hoping it was all gonna work out but relief just never came. What was the point of the characters? 90% of the show was the screens. And also what was with Vader's Michael Jackson pose at the end of his bit? And doesn't Darth Maul look bored just twirling his Hasbro toy out there?

Ugh. A 15 minute movie clip reel with some people in costumes walking around.
It's like any sci-fi convention.

I am not sure how you do a Star Wars stage show, though. There can't be singing and
dancing.

Perhaps the answer is . . . . you don't.
Maybe something like the gunfights and Zorro stuff they did at Disneyland's Frontierland back in the 50s. But you know, with zappy guns and lightsabers. Would certainly be nice for streetmosphere when Star Wars Land opens up.

One park had a SW Spectacular, TDL with Mickey's Space Fantasy back in t989:
Although, most of it was a version of Tokyo Disneyland Is Your Land with the SW gang. That wouldn't work in DHS. Maybe if SW ever got into MK.
I don't know. But the new SW fireworks aren't a Tucker or a Davidson extravaganza.

Tucker? Did not know he did extravaganzas or that his name was well known.
