Or test track all stars?Still better than the Lumberjacks!
One park had a SW Spectacular, TDL with Mickey's Space Fantasy back in t989:
Although, most of it was a version of Tokyo Disneyland Is Your Land with the SW gang. That wouldn't work in DHS. Maybe if SW ever got into MK.
Well they were in soft openings today and I'm sure every show opens with a full set of prerecorded messages and plans to implement for any kind of contingency that comes up from day one.I guess they anticipated cancelled shows. They cancelled the 5:30 show and already had a pre-recorded spell for it.

Except for, apparently, the contingency to prevent 3PO go out and perform a dialogue with a non-existent R2-D2...Well they were in soft openings today and I'm sure every show opens with a full set of prerecorded messages and plans to implement for any kind of contingency that comes up from day one.
I miss Snig and Oopla so much. Still holding out hope that maybe once things settle down after SWL opens something like the Weekends will be back.I really miss the Hyperspace Hoopla. That show was clever and well thought out. And it changed every year.

I'm hoping so too. That show appealed to Star Wars fans and non fans alike. It was just a fun time for everyone. I would look forward to it all year.I miss Snig and Oopla so much. Still holding out hope that maybe once things settle down after SWL opens something like the Weekends will be back.
My bet is imagineering didn't have anything to do with this show at all. Seems more like an afterthought that was passed off to a marketing person.
