You wanted over the top and got it but people still complain… nothing is never enough for certain people on here.

I think it’s looks fine and nothing is wrong with it looking like the TSM queue. So what if they used a similar style in the gift shop as well.

Isn’t thematic consistency a constant topic talked about on these forums ?

There's a difference between being thematically consistent and just trotting out the same tired schtick.

It’s like dining in the TSMM queue. Feels similar to the JC lift to Skipper’s Canteen in MK. You know what would be a great attraction to theme a restaurant on? HM.
That was discussed at one time... I think it could be amazing...especially if they had a giant cemetery dining room a-la- Blue Lagoon...Conservatory...it could be an epic money-maker. Especially if Be Our Guest becomes a real attraction...

I have seen that said twice on this thread and I must say I find that to be not true.

There is no reason why we need to have a Barrel Full of Monkeys game and other toys represented again. I get that it cost money to strike some deals, but there are ways they could have no name branded or struck great deals to feature other toys.

The dining areas could have had giant plasticky looking bags of Easy Bake looking Cake Mix and some Barbi dreamhouse kitchen and dining type areas as if Molly got to playing too.

It is just lazy to do it all again and as others have said, rather uninteresting.

When Honey I shrunk The Kids Movie Set Adventure Playground had more variety than this, there is a problem.
In theory Andy made the land at the same time so it should have the same aesthetic.

All I can say is that Andy must have had a lot of sets of Barrel Of Monkeys...
The whole thing is such a meh at this point... Pizza Planet was the better choice fully immersive to the films... I am sure everyone would have preferred it to the vary tired reiteration of the TSMM Queue one more time. The whole land is really one-note...and when you see California's Cars Land, you realize what could have been and how much more engaging and beautiful a land WDI can design and build.

I think it is safe to say it is just art. With the situation in entertainment, they would not be able to staff it. And we have never had any indication that this will be character dining.
From what I heard a good while ago, it had been designed from an ops perspective to integrate some sort of character interaction. However, plans may have changed since then, like you said with entertainment capacity etc.

But certainly with it being a windowless box design that maintains character integrity between inside and out, you can see how WDI intended for potential character dining in the future.

Agree is certainly seems like it is setup to make it a possibility, but I don't think we will see it happen, at least at opening.

I wonder how many decades we’re gonna lean on “labor shortage”?

Until they don’t need it and everyone leaves the park at 9:30 am pizzed?

I’ll help them…here’s a good move, “Josh”:

At least where I am at the labor shortage is still a very real thing for certain jobs. I went out to dinner last Friday evening and the restaurant was not seating about 1/3 of the tables. My waitress also clearly had a lot more tables than I would normally see (she nailed it though). I still see help wanted signs everywhere.

You know, Toy Story Land gets so much hate on these boards, but when I was there back in October my friend who has never been to Disney World thought it was the most whimsical land. She thought the theming was above and beyond everything else in Orlando.
yeah on here people hate it but in person it seems like a lot of people love it, i like it though i can see room for improvements and think SDD is fun for what it is. When the bbq opens that will def plus the land in a big way and hopefuly als toy barn isnt too far behind
